Seriously though, the thought of one of these things peeking in peoples windows is terrifying

Sooner one peeking through the window rather than being inside.
I wonder what they think of television, are they curious or do they just get hooked on shows like some of us. What do they think when they see a show with murder, war, etc.
Or are they just observing us and don't care re the tele...

Re: Hairy Bloke looking in window image
I remember a report from quite a few years back where some campers had a television going whilst they were out in the bush at night with kids shows running.
If they turned it off they heard disgruntled noises coming from the adjacent bush ?
So maybe our hairy mates just want to watch Humphrey Bear or Barney or maybe Harry and the Hendersons !!

Interesting Al, I guess kids programs would be more interesting to them. Fun, colourful and full of action/activities. And if the stories regarding them liking and watching children are correct - then it makes sense that they would enjoy watching kids at play, etc on tele.
Then .. maybe they would like Humphrey and fat cat better for other reasons. Big, furry and in relation to Humphrey half naked!!!

Oh by the way, who's Barney - not familiar with this character. Do you mean Barney Rubble - re the Flintstones?
Never seen Harry and the Hendersons so cannot comment there. I know Harry is a Bigfoot though.

Hey Al, i remember watching a Sasquatch chronicles episode where an elderly lady said that she looked after them and that when they put on Spongebob the whole group would come and watch.AL Pitman wrote: Wed Sep 04, 2019 10:40 am I remember a report from quite a few years back where some campers had a television going whilst they were out in the bush at night with kids shows running.

Meant common theme!
Re: Hairy Bloke looking in window image
There's a bigfoot testimonial from Sasquatch Chronicles where an old lady has close relations with a troop out of her home for decades. She puts the tele outside so they can watch Sponge Bob, apparently they love it. It's the second most incredible testimonial I've heard behind the Glagg Saga.rowbe wrote: Wed Sep 04, 2019 8:15 am Sooner one peeking through the window rather than being inside.

So Yowie Hunters
What about setting up a laptop out in the scrub in a remote location with a kids show running and have the Skype camera functioning at the same time connected to another device.
Mr or Mrs or even junior Hairy may just pop over for a bopeep and walla a good clear image could possibly be achieved ?
I have no doubt in our AYR community that we have the individuals with the tech savvy to set something like this up .
It’s a screen so the hole supposed fear of the big camera eye shouldn’t be an issue and the lure of the colourful show , sponge bob or the wiggles may just do the trick .
But if I see one Yowie in a Big red car singing cold spaghetti I’m growing a Mohawk Lol

Wolf, I think I'm talking about another old lady and troop. "Anthony" from Sasquatch Chronicles 419. If you haven't heard it it's a good oneWolf wrote: Wed Sep 04, 2019 8:39 pm Taylor has been on Duke's show a few times sharing more details about the old lady and her Spongebob-watching troop...

Re: Hairy Bloke looking in window image
The report I Am referring to was here in AYR If I remember correctly it was from the NSW reports ??
Not sure if it's still available to read , I guess I would have read it back in about 2010 ?
There was some discussion at the time as to the mental / intellectual capacity of the Yowie .
Your more than welcome to open that can again it will definitely make for interesting contributions ..
