This sighting scared the wits out of the witness. As you will hear at the end, there's a degree of PTSD, which isn't uncommon.

Another awesome report Dean !
A truly credible witness and absolutely no BS .
I hope she is OK , she sounded quite traumatised .
It raises a question?
What health care organisation would be best to contact with this sort of issue eg lifeline ect .
My personal belief is that this forum is the best councillor there is as we have many members that have had an encounter of their own and so are sympathetic in their approach and response.
Great interview as well by the way, definitely improving in that area for sure .
Cheers

That would have scared the s***, sorry, the wits, out of me also, especially at night (which is one of the reasons why I never drive long distances at night in the country) . . .

Great interview, the witness came out of it quite traumatised, Dean you did a great job helping her understand just what she encountered.
Keep up the great work!

Interesting the notion that it might have been trying to be seen. I've often wondered how they could not hear an approaching vehicle at night. I'm reminded of the Kings highway report on the Clyde mountain before Batemans Bay where a couple had one walk across the road behind their vehicle after it had parked on the side of the road. Food for thought.

Thanks to Dean and co and that poor women for a great report.
I agree Austral-oz, it does appear as if they purposely cross in front of vehicles.
With their senses they must be able to hear/see a vehicle a long way off.
So why do they cross to be seen ? Sinister intentions or a plain old sense of humour.
So many reports are from this situation.
This is where I mention dash-cams; it may eventually happen.
Interesting that she had a bad feeling when she pulled over just before she saw the Yowie.

Perhaps they're just talking on their mobile phones and not looking where they're going, like some of these
