Another absolutely fascinating report. Many thanks to Dean and Buck. Keep up the great work as it is much appreciated by the rank and file.
I'm assuming the October 6th date is this year. If so, it makes it a very recent encounter. Pity our witness friend didn't whip out his mobile and start recording. Sounds like there was the potential to grab some incredible footage! As he stopped his bike a number of times, it would have been good to ask if he had any thoughts about doing that.

Interesting about the dog , not something you see very day . It adds weight to the yowies hate dogs hypothesis .
And another account of dead quiet , eerie , and feelings of being watched not to mention the monkey man/men .
The audio interviews are very convincing , thank you !

Another great report Dean! It was interesting about them making no sound considering the size of it. Must be very careful with their foot placement..I guess like bears

Interesting that he said it was bizarre how these creatures (Yowies) were moving parallel to him along the trail and making no noise what so ever very much like predator in the movie. 300 kg gorillas certainly do not move silently through the jungle when they are on the move.
Luke 8:17 KJV: For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

Great report Dean
its interesting how he describes the lack of noise as it was moving through the bush as we have had one come across the track in front of us about 15mtrs ahead and where it went into the other side we heard nothing.

Yes I watched this video today and its one of the best yet. Simply because its a fresh and very clear in the witness's mind.
Also Wondabyne is a popular walking trail and although this guy did break away on a single track - it concerns me that people are walking this track and unaware of the potential danger that lurks off the path.
If a decapitated dog is anything to go by.....what else are these beings capable of to a solo walker!!!
It reaffirms my thoughts that there is a real threat to bushwalkers - looking out for snakes is one thing but this is a whole new issue.
Understanding of course that there is no proof Yowies are interested in attacking people....

Great report. I was listening to this while I was alone in my shed with the lights on. My shed backs onto dense bush with no neighbours. I have two windows facing the bush. I was standing next to one all lights on inside my shed. Couldn't see a thing thru the windows but paranoid I was being watched after listening to this lol...needless to say made me very scared to run back to my house in the dark after that

Re: AYR Audio Report , near Woy Woy. (151)
One case that always makes me wonder is from 2007 on my research patch. It involves an experienced bush track runner who simply vanished leaving behind only a jumper. It was winter conditions and the bush is too thick to leave the trails at least for the purposes of running. From my understanding these creatures display a flight or fight response to interaction depending on how they experience the encounter. Wrong place alone.. their environment.. wrong time?
I know the area pretty well, why would this guy leave what are effectively gated firetrails, wander off to get lost, if his purpose was to run firetrails? Why would he leave his jumper behind? Could have been wild dogs but they'd have found remains? I have sound recordings from the area that, if the sound of foliage and branch breaking is any indication, suggests their private activities may not be as benign as some people think. Did this bloke meet up with a yowie and come out second best? I really don't know.. but.. I know they are there. It's prime habitat in Canberra's camping free, nearly trackless impenetrable forest, drinking water catchment and it's uninhabited. If your a non government punter your on foot.

David Paulides' Missing 411 books could provide a clue as to how some vanish into thin air, and not just a few!

Great report. Sounds like it/ they were gliding/levitating or whatever they do. Possibly twk or one criss crossing the track. Grey skin face and massive body covered in black hair. Trust a cyclist to have a go at a yowie. Priceless!

That's very scary re the missing runner. One theory, though unlikely if running, is that when people start to develop hypothermia they take off all their clothes and lose orientation... that said only a jumper was found...

Wow.....that is an amazing interview & his retelling of his experience made me break out in goose bumps!
I wonder too ,if we humans ,with our land clearing & suburban sprawl continuing has a lot to do with why a yowie (or 2) are seen somewhere that they hadn't been seen or reported before.
I realise that where this gentleman was reporting his experience from is a fairly remote or not heavily populated area, so you'd have to ask the question why are they appearing there now? Or....have they always been there but hadn't made themselves known until now?
Great interview. Thanks for posting & looking forward to the next chapter.

Great report. I live at Gosford, and travel through close to that area most days on the train. Once you go through the woy woy tunnel, you end up in the valley where Wondabyne is. Huge tracts of bush in there with very little access to humans. Lots of caves for shelter , at least that I can see looking up from the train. Fresh water may be an issue but there are a number of small creek lines that may have something. I suspect that any yowies living in there might make use of the tip for scavenging. Easy access into the tip from the bush for a yowie. My daughter has a friend at Phegans bay, and it is almost contiguous bush from there to the location of the report, and also to the location of the previous dogman report. She sometimes goes for a walk in the bush in that area with her friends,I will have to warn her to look out .
