Tree damage by cocky
I was at work Sunday and 4 black cockatoos arrived. Not saying yowies dont eat, scratch trees at all but took pics of the tree damage done by a cocky..He was only at the tree for 1 minute when i got to close and he flew of, but if he stayed another minute im sure he would have eaten straight through that trunk.

Re: Tree damage by cocky
Checking for wood chips on the ground below the tree usually confirms Cockatoo damage.. Big chunks however , would likely be by something else..
