It looks like a baboon.

Which wouldn't surprise me at all. A lot of exotic creatures have escaped or been set free in the US etc.

To give just a few examples:-
Burmese Python in Florida.
Emus and Ostriches in Texas.
Kangaroos even turn up occationally.

In Florida there is even believed to be a "breeding" troop of Chimpanzees whose ancestors escaped captivity in the 1930s. Not to mention that some of the Skunk ape photos look like an Orang-Utan, ie escaped Orangs, possibly even a breeding population.

In the past, rules and regulations, regarding the keeping of animals in Circuses and Carnivals were lax. Animal escaped quite a lot, often not reported. When a circus or carnival went broke, and the animals could not be sold, they were sometimes let loose. So a breeding troop of Baboons iin the US or Canada would not surprise me at all.

It just means that along with the native Cryptid Primates, there are also exotic known primates. Kind of muddies the waters a tad, thats all.

Folcrom.
