Make of these tracks what you will but they were found after, My wife, daughter and I had a thylacine sighting in the area a few months previously they spand 1.3 from the first print to the farthest, the strangest thing about them there were only these four in an area that was so heavily covered in mud I had trouble accessing it , they just appear and then vanish the casts are bigger than some of the larger breeds of dog paws I have compared side by side with and look totally different when compared first hand
these pictures are over a year now I did set up trail cam but no luck with what these tracks
Some suggestion are Wombat which there none in my area of northern Brisbane ,Koala which at 1.3 meters mean it would be huge both of theses prints don't match anyway

Large Canid or Cat have been other suggests

Speaking from an uneducated standpoint Lol
Isn’t it a trait of a cat track to place their feet in a narrow single file like that or is this the case with the marsupial lion also .
They were a genetic miracle really !!

I can clearly see claw marks in these pics and as far as I know cats dont walk with their claws out.

SO.... most likely something else.

I'm not sure what it is but I don't think it's a koala the tracks are the wrong shape. As mentioned there are definitely claws so not a cat either. Did you say you are north brisbane? Would exclude wombat. Could be dingo maybe?

Non retracting claws would indicate something other than cat, along with the size. They certainly are strange tracks that's for sure.
