Yowie running at 105kph??!

I’m a bit perturbed.
The latest report has a women telling the story of being shadowed on the highway at 105kph. That’s really bloody fast. Improbably fast. But I’m also not detecting any bullshit from the story teller either.

https://youtu.be/dhvT7tZ6hZQ

So in summary. My bullshit detector not going off, but a report of yowie running at 105kph. $&@% me.

Yeah great interview...... what an experience that would have been, that would have shaken most people up

Personally I think the Hills of Never Never would be a great place to go, Dean must think otherwise.

I've heard of a case of a sasquatch running next to cars on a highway either in washington state or british columbia. Can't remember which. The speed was roughly 100kph.

Still though that sounds a hair unreasonable speed wise. But people do say they move pretty darned quick. Id figure 45mph is plausible.

Hi Thumper. There is an identical report on here detailing the exact experience that this lady has had.
It was from the same area I believe (Nambucca),It was from a male who also had a dog whimpering in his car as the creature ran beside his car.
He described it in the exact same way, long flowing red/auburn hair, running at the same speed as the car and showing off it`s athleticism!

There are some outstanding sketches from the witness on the Facebook page under the comments for the video if anyone is interested.

Each time a new Yowie/Bigfoot sighting video is released I'm fascinated. The videos substantiate my beliefs I don't have to say anything these reports say it all particularly this woman's encounter. Keep the videos coming. :D

Here is a link to the FB page https://www.facebook.com/yowiehunters.com.au/ you will have to scroll down to the video in question and then read the comments as thats where the sketches are located currently.

Or you can view them below, excellent sketches. (thumb up)

The AYR Audio Reports just get better and better.

This one is pure gold. The reported speed is incredible and the witness description drawings are amazing.

A cheetah can exceed 120 kph, so maybe it's possible for an immensely powerful beast with a huge stride (or bound) to get up to 100 kph.

So much to learn!

Just as incredible is that it ran at that speed for at least 2 minutes without seemingly breathing hard. What kind of physiology can do that?!?!

Nothing on this Earth that humans know of.

Just thinking a bit more.

Imagine how much body heat would be generated by that yowie running so fast for so long. How could it cope with that?

My basic understanding is that physiologically speaking, you have to trade off between strength and endurance. A cheetah can run very fast but it is only for seconds. This yowie ran very fast for minutes. That yowies muscle physiology is far beyond known earth based primate skeletal muscle physiology. Very interesting!

That's the whole problem isn't it , no one really knows anything .
There have been many sightings of yowies on all fours running at incredible speeds but this is the only time we have a witness who actually clocked one .

There is an AYR audio report of a couple of fellas in a paddock who witnessed one running on all fours , they did give a comparison from memory , I'll try and find it .

As it turns out , the yowie in this video wasn't running on all fours but apparently could "outrun Mick Doohan on a bike" .

The witness also mentions it covered 150 metres in 4 seconds . Thats 26.6 seconds to cover 1 kilometre . This turns out to be 140 kilometres an hour which may very well be an exaggeration . https://www.timecalculator.net/speed-di ... calculator

Husein Bolt was clocked at 44 kilometres an hour .

So it may very well be a normal speed for a yowie who wishes to display his or her strengths .

Thanks Rusty2 for the video. I had forgotten about that.

I think we "know" plenty actually. There are hundreds of eyewitness reports, footprint casts and first nation peoples experiences. There is a huge amount of information that could be put into a coherent theory. Just as police use profiles to try and catch unknown offenders, there is plenty of information to profile yowies/sasquatch.

Trouble is, officialdom doesn't want this done. For me, that is the real juicy mystery...

My apologies , your right , we do know quite a bit but the interesting details elude us .
Is running 100 k's an hour normal ?

I think the powers that be may eventually disclose but only if they can benefit from it .

Ive seen something running beside the van on the newell and we would have been doing 100 ks. What looked like the same thing also ran across the road in front of us and both me and the driver saw it so i doubt i was mistaken. Dunno what it was but it looked like the things from the predator movies.

Really ? What else is living in our forests , hiding under the cover of darkness ?

Yeah it was weird. I would've written it off if the driver hadnt seen it when it ran across in front of us and from the other side of the road from where i first saw it. We never even discussed it afterwards!

Very strange night with lots of tension in the car and lightning storm brewing outside.

I have heard of another strange bi pedal thing running along a highway and keeping pace with a greyhound bus but it didnt sound like a yowie at all.

If things were capable of running or moving that fast then im thinking they would need a tough exterior or protective gear.

There was a forum member that used to say the yowies can move at the speed of light if they want to. Now we have a report that says they can run over 100ks and hour!

I watched/listened to the lady's report with interest.
She seems quite genuine and sincere.
However, that does not mean she is infallible or that her account is completely accurate.
i have questions about a number of points.

1) The lady states she was driving at 95 kmh at night. She "sees" a creature running through trees (she uses the term "tree-lines' but I am unsure how this relates to distance) off to her left. The creature gets closer and closer to the road until it is running at the same speed as the car on the left hand side.

I'm damn sure if I was driving at 95kmh at night I wouldn't be able to take my eyes off the road long enough to see something running off to the left through trees.

2) She sees it in the mirror of the car and notes it has red hair. She gives a detailed description of the shape of the head, the nose, the eyes, even the teeth.

Again, how is this level of detail possible given that it is at night (even with moonlight) at speed? Was the road perfectly straight....didn't it have any corners?

3) She says it ran with her for about 3 minutes at 100 kmh. That's a distance of 5 km. As questioned in 2): how was she able to negotiate corners at speed in the dark yet get such a detailed description?

4) Later she mentions that, when it first appeared she "pulled back" the speed of her car to give the thing a chance to pass. Only when it didn't, did she speed up. So how slow did she decrease her speed to...and for how long?

It is plain to see I call quite a lot of her testimony into question. NOTE: I do not question her sincerity; only the accuracy of speed and times and detail of features. I don't think we should fall into the habit of believing everything a witness says just because they sound sincere.

I agree. We have to allow for error from any witness report. Especially in a car at night while driving that fast!

It’s a conundrum, that’s for sure!

I take MA’s point that the information the female witness has given while driving at speed could possibly be questioned. However, the detail that can be gleaned in a glance of a second or two can be quite specific, particularly when your senses are on high alert. And it seems that’s what we are hearing.

Thanks Rusty for jogging the memory about the Dorrigo National Park sighting. Another case of a fantastic speed being reported!

Just what on Earth could these incredible creatures be?? I think most of us are on this site because we would dearly love to know the answer to that one perplexing question.

Yowie bait… after shocking us some months back with intimate details of your Fraser Island encounter, I now see you have also come across a road runner! Mate, I have to ask… what else are you hiding from the rest of us? :D

More than a couple of people have witnessed these creatures travelling at tremendous speeds i.e. moving at the speed of light; moving faster than Mick Doohan on his motorbike; keeping pace with cars motoring along at 90 kph plus with no physical effort on the part of these creatures.

And it's not only Yowies Dogman have also been reported moving at these speeds.

Hi Yowie bait, I think you have had more experience with these paranormal entities than just about anybody else on this forum. From Yowies, ghosts, predator type creatures so you can speak from experience.

Please forgive my presumptuousness in calling them supernatural others would try to ascertain a more natural explanation. :)

Hi Searcher i have mentioned that one before on the forum and also when what might have been a yowie walked up beside a mate who was relieving himself and slapped our car. From what he said the "massive bloke" was at least 8 ft tall! We were sleeping in the van beside the road on the newell.

I must have been up and down the Newell maybe 20-30 times from Bris to Melb and back and only a few times we had any weirdness.

That night with the Roadrunner was very odd.
Earlier with the other driver we had a run in with min min lights/ orbs. We had then switched drivers and this mate had refused to stop for petrol before entering a blackspot because he wanted to get home and he was freaking that we would run dry.

I just saw the thing running along and never mentioned it then it was gone and later what looked like the same thing ran across in front from the other side!

I said " $#@/ did you see that? and he said " yeah, he was in a hurry" and we never discussed it or mentioned it again.

We made it to the next servo and switched drivers again. Ignored advice from truckies and servo staff and proceed to drive into and through the most terrifying electrical storm i have ever experienced!

A trip home i wasnt on as id stayed in melb, the two guys sat by the side of the newell all night and watched two ufos perform maneuvers, hide behind a mountain and buzz planes!

Hi Senses. I know theres many more experienced members than me. More likely im just dumb enough to talk about it. I think with the ghosts i was thinking everything was ghosts for awhile. Nothing much has happened to me or at our place for awhile now.

I know a few people that have seen sime weird things on the highways but theyre very careful about talking about it and would never discuss it in publc or report it.

Yeah that thing was very odd and especially with confirmation with the driver seeing it as well!
