The issue of pareidolia and over-active imaginations...

So im super-nervous about posting this one. Nervous mainly because I hope I dont insult anyone.
Nonetheless, the point of this post and the video linked below, is pareidolia and over-active imaginations. Tn the research community this problem is as old as Patty herself, yet in 2021 its still a MAJOR issue plaguing the field. As my research journey evolves, it just irritates me more and more to see utter rubbish get paraded as good research and, worst of all, '100% proof!'.
We've all seen it a million times, but my hope with this vid is to bring the conversation back round in the hopes that those lying to themselves and us will take a look in the mirror and think before they post.
If you disagree, please dont tear too many shreds off me haha.
Have a good day all.

Hi Craig,
Your assessment is credible. Because I believe like you that Yowies/Bigfoot/Sasquatch are interdimensional and although do occasionally appear in physical form they prefer to adopt an invisible stance. This I believe is the reason as to why with all the latest high tech thermal image equipment we are not able to detect Bigfoot in the most prolific Bigfoot hotspots in the US.
They can encompass you and you wouldn't know as the manfromglad has attested to but one thing I am certain of is they do not leave behind any physical verification of their existence i.e. dead bodies, skeletal remains, body parts etc because of the very reason they are interdimensional.
So we have no physical proof of their existence yet we know they do exist. I believe your understanding of these creatures will eventually reap rewards.

The most important thing you can do as a researcher in this subject (which I'm not)
Is to explore every avenue that disproves the evidence you have found or the beliefs you have.

Its a tough field to be in as everything is just so speculative. As you stated, they can be literally surrounding you and you have no idea. And on the flip side, they could be nowhere near you and you start believing they are all around you!
There is so much learning left to do and an excess of misunderstandings to correct before we can even get close to the truth, and thats why I'm in the field - to try and expand understanding and acceptance. Gonna have to play the long game I suspect!

True mate. I TRY to do that, sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail. Its so easy to see what you want to see - it's becoming quite the discipline to maintain that authentic perspective!
But I try and will keep seeking improvement and hope that one day I can bring more understanding to this area

Yes pareidolia and over active imaginations are prelavent on YouTube when so called evidence is presented on cryptids or the paranormal.
The thread on this site "what is this thing" is a perfect example.
The pictures presented could be anything, in saying that it could be a dogman from an other dimension?
The chances of that are a trillion to one.
Look for the logical explanation explore them all.
Rule out every other possible answer and then go from there.
I too will get called out for this post.
But hey it was suggested it was a dogman, so when you submit a post claiming big calls like that expect to be questioned!

The problem there Bluedog the logical explanation has been investigated and in many cases can be dismissed not all but most. The big dilemma with the academia crowd is their inability to absorb the paranormal/supernatural phenomenon its a case of their brain is not able to respond to the possibility.
Everyone knows the supernatural world is very real except perhaps scientists their lack of a theory as to what these creatures are is self-incriminating.

There may be some hope for you after- all.

Maybe in your mind.

Yes, all the pareidolia brigade wanting to return to take pictures over and over again hoping for a different result what's that about confirmation bias?
