So impressive Dean. I don't know how any reasonable person could discredit that footage. The creatures were obviously much taller and broader than a human and to my sight appeared to be neckless. The trait you have identified of hugging trees to avoid detection is obviously proved here. I think it is so important to acknowledge the fact that they are aware we are blind but even so they still hug trees even in the dark. Great follow up very detailed.

Great work again. I was thinking Buck must have been further back. Hard to grasp just how big they are!

On another note, the news is suspiciously quiet. Even Daily Mail seems to no longer have their finger on the pulse.

It’s absolutely bizarre.

Normally, all I need is an expression on my face to have a News Crew on my doorstep. Now..... when we have solid evidence, there’s just the sound of crickets.

All fun and games until it gets real.

Hey dean congrats to u and the group again great footage when i finish ill watch the new video

Haha the whole news going missing makes me think they know u have something 100% and know they cant touch it with a 10ft tall

They know they cant turn the article into a cheeky dig at people that believe in all this stuff like u always see in the states when they talk about a new bigfoot sighting or encounter

Cheers

I think the better the evidence the less mainstream attention. Makes sense. They want it being fringe, they want stories not evidence. It's hard for them to even make fun of such awesome footage.

That still image of the yowie in the US is incredible. It's an ugly looking thing haha. Can understand why it changes people's lives when they see one. I would be terrified if I saw that out in th bush

This footage continues to impress. Really, well done and thanks to everyone involved.

I'm a researcher from the states and the organization that I work with is called the North American Woodape Conservancy (NAWAC) and we have a very impressive roster of talented members from all over the world. We've been discussing this footage on our private forum and one of the team members created this comparison graphic (that I'm sharing here with his permission) with the Yowie in the thermal footage and 'Patty' from the PG film. The resemblance is striking.

I have now been referring to the subject Yowie as Patty's brother from another mother downunder.

It's great footage. A fuss has been made in the media over very ordinary/unimpressive footage in the past. Strange there's nothing about this footage yet.

I guess a lot of other reports and videos that find their way into the media are often published with more than a hint of derision about the subject.

It's hard to level the same derision at this footage, which might go some ways to explaining the slow response.

Cards on the table, I'm still a skeptic (I can hear many of you going you're kidding, right?) but this footage has come the closest to tearing down my skepticism wholesale. It's certainly shaken my foundations!

Incredible bit of footage.

Any plans to head out again soon? I imagine you'd be pretty keen to get back out there after something like this!

Congratulations again.

Hi Dean, your footage along with the Bigfoot image at 15:44 in your video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0sg9z7efPU&t=944s and of course the Patterson-Gimlan film is in my opinion the best evidence yet of the existence of these creatures.

News crews, media/journalists are all fine with the hypotheticals but when real confirmation is produced no one to be seen. They're comfortable with the what-ifs and maybes but when factual evidence is presented that is a bit of a shock because then they have to question their own beliefs.

Belated congratulations AYR on brilliant work, both in researching and producing such a useful detailed map and database.

I'm reminded of an ancient Chinese curse.....

"May you live in interesting times!"

The NAWAC group has done great research, I particularly enjoyed reading about Operation Endurance!

Thank you!

Our field op season starts soon. We do our best to have continuous presence from June through October-ish. I'll be in our research area for a week in July and possibly for shorter stints throughout the year.

How long before there's funding for an AYR T640 camera?

Swamp gas...
OK - please excuse my warped sense of humor!
One things for sure - he's a big fella! Awesome footage - should have made the national news (but keeping location secret - last thing we need is every d-head with a gun out looking for him!)

Well done to you and the crew Dean; forget about the media and wait for Academics / related scientists to come knocking! If I was a primatologist guess what I will be spending my weekend doing?. The footage has got good data such as thermal images and measurements, all waiting for the scientific method to give it a big stamp of approval.

Well done mate, you have worked your A... off for years and now the dividends are coming your way.

There are far better cameras out now and far cheaper, Pulsars run around $7000 for something that runs rings around it but a big waiting list, the Chinese brands are $4000 to $5000 for a Spotter with the same size 640 chip and better picture than the old Flirs as well as video, audio recording and optical zoom.
