Hi all, new to the forum and to the yowie scene. I was out camping not long ago with a friend and bar seeing a yowie with my own two eyes, a series of really unexplainable strange events happening that night led me to here. I initally submitted a report to this website and don't know if it is up, so if not to keep a long story short, first the bush went dead silent, heard foot steps not far from us in the dark, heard what sounded like a tree snapping in half and then I had something chucked at me and landed at my feet. Safe to say I was packing it a little and was bracing myself for something to come out of the darkness towards us, but despite that it has made me fascinated by it now and was making this post to see if anyone in the Sydney area goes for hunts and I might tag along if it's cool? My experience was in the blue mountains in case anyone is wondering.
Thanks all.
Anyone else here in Sydney/Blue Mtns go out to search for yowies?

Hello Cam93, the Blue Mountains is my research area. If you could contact me via messenger we could then talk about where you were when you had your encounter and maybe go back with a thermal and see what we get. Just look up Yowie Dan and message me via Facebook messenger.

Wise move.

If I can find a crew that does not mind people tagging along I would love to head out into the blue mountains.
