My girlfriend and i recently decided to do a hike into goonengerry today. Ill just say of the bat we were greeted by a myriad of activity in the surrounding scrub; stick structures, crosses, tp structures etc.. much resembling previous evidence’s from ongoing finds in the whian area. (http://www.yowiehunters.net/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=6870)
We had seen plenty of evidence to suggest it was a hotspot but what really took the cake was when we were walking out at 4pm we both heard 3 very defined wood/rock knocks coming from within the forest downhill at about 50-100m from us. I decided to grab a rock and do some replies which initiated the most exciting and interesting experience so far..the interaction lasted about 15minutes with multiple replies and rocks being slammed on the ground or trees to the point i could feel it vibrating the ground and tree. I believe i also heard some gutterall utterances/heavy rocks being dragged inbetween some rock knocks. some appeared to come from slightly different areas within the forest and seemed to knock back quite erratically and louder at times. The wind was very still and i actually asked the last hikers on the trail when they were leaving if they happened to have been clacking rocks to which they confusingly replied no..
I dont have any expensive equipment or anything but my girlfriend did manage to record this whole experience on her iphone along with some of the louder replies aswell.
