Metallic Noises in Conjunction with Sasquatch/Yowie Activity?

Hello, everyone! I haven't been on this forum for a few years due to lack of spare time. I'm pretty sure I have Sasquatch/Forest People activity where I live, a few of my experiences are floating around on this forum. I am wondering if anyone has heard out-of-place metallic noises in known Yowie areas with activity? I've had some sound events, three may have taken place since I last posted on this forum (I don't remember if I reported them here.) I mean clearly metallic noise/sounds in areas where there is absolutely no way you should be hearing metal.
I have heard what I believe to be animal mimicry here: usually owls/woodpeckers/possibly a coyote ( a few recent coyote calls were suspicious.) I am perplexed about the metallic sounds.
I still have a bit of activity, some of it is subtle and some of it is quite bold. I will try to attach photos.

Yowie Dan, I'm in the middle of the US. We have four distinctive seasons, rivers, a lot of agriculture, lots of wildlife. I am close to the Ozark mountain range. I do live next to a working farm. There are other homes around, where I am we are divided by chunks of wooded areas and fields.

Hi Speck.
This subject has come up before.
http://www.yowiehunters.net/viewtopic.p ... nds#p58291
Metallic noises are one of those curious details that gets mentioned from time to time.
Most people are quite specific about what they've heard but the descriptions seem to range. A car door slamming, loose corrugated iron, a manhole cover, a gong, a vault closing etc
No idea what causes the sound but it comes up regularly on Bigfoot and Dogman forums as well.
Can you share some more details about your experience?

This is usually associated with ufo and cattle mutilation.

Hello, again! VERY sorry for the delay. Spring has turned into SUPER HOT summer too quickly. 58°F to 90+°F with buckets of rain, cold and muddy to extremely hot and slightly less muddy. (We seem to be losing Spring and Fall here.) Okay, so on to the metallic sounds. I grew up around farm buildings made with corrugated metal, handmade metal doors, farm machinery so I KNOW those sounds very well. On windy days the loose metal sheets bang up and down, metal doors and hinges slam and squeak. Typical sounds of a working farm.
Several years ago during a hot summer I head what sounded like something thumping and bumping around in what seemed to be a metal building or trailer. Yes, my neighbor does move cattle in trailers but this was not happening at the time and also the sound came from a wooded area behind our wild back yard. I stood in the yard and listened and kept moving closer, down the hill toward the barbed wire fence. I usually don't wander in the wild part of the back yard when foliage has grown in, we do have three types of poisonous snakes around here. I stood still listening for minutes then would move forward. I made it to a somewhat clear area of the fence and leaned over. No doubt the sounds were coming from the wooded area, nothing man made is in that area. Definitely loud enough to be noticed by me and not coming from my neighbor's workshop/farm area (I can always pinpoint sounds around here.) I thought that perhaps the people who live behind me were constructing some type of building in the wooded area but then I would have heard heavy machinery, chainsaws, people, and such. No human voices, just the weird thumping and bumping sounds. I was extremely curious. Couldn't see anything so I walked out of the wild part and went back to yard work. I believe it was the next day or two that it happened again. Driving me crazy because I couldn't figure out what it was. Again, I walked down the hill into our wild back yard to the fence and leaned over and listened. No doubt, it was in the wooded area. I REALLY wanted to climb over the fence and find out the source of the sounds. I KNEW there was no construction back there, cattle were not in that area. The weird thing about it is that I felt almost like I was being lured to climb over the fence and go into the overgrown wooded area. I certainly was drawn to the sounds. I kept thinking, "What is going on back there? What are those sounds?"
There had already been one incident in the wild part of the back yard where I felt I was being lured to investigate, I chose to back off and go about my business. I stayed away from that area for days afterward. With the metallic sounds, I chose to move away from the fence and leave it alone. I was feeling unusually curious about the sounds, and I didn't like that so I stayed out of that area for the rest of the summer. After the leaves fell during fall and winter, I had a good look at the area. Nothing there. No metal, no signs of any man made activity. Nothing but brush and trees, the same as it has always been for decades.
Never heard those sounds again after those couple of days.
It was bizarre. I was just wondering if anyone else experienced the same? I'll post my other sound incident that happened in winter, I've never heard anything like that particular sound and it was LOUD.
Thanks for the link, Iwanna!
Thumper: No cattle mutilations here, thankfully.

This is another sound incident:
We had a bizarre sound event January 2019. Around 1 AM, I was at the computer reading, my senior mother was asleep. I had the window cracked even though it was brutally cold. Truly out of nowhere came an extremely loud, HUGE sound at the southeast corner of our house. It sounded like a piece of heavy farm equipment like a disc harrow had been lifted fifty feet into the sky, dropped, dragged and crumbled in my driveway. !!! It was so loud that it woke my mother and I froze in place. There was no wind, a crystal clear brutally cold night.
It took me a couple of minutes before I could move, was deciding whether I should look out the window without the flood lights on. I finally checked on my Mom ("What was that? I was sleeping.") and turned on the front floodlights. I did not want to go outside but I took my flashlight and looked around that area in our driveway. Nothing.
Next day I walked around our property and my neighbor's property to see if I could find anything out of place. I'm surrounded by old and new corrugated metal buildings and farm equipment. Not one thing out of place.
However, the very strange part of it and I heard it quite clearly because it seemed like it was very close to the window where I was on the computer, I thought I heard a slight organic sound to it. Something was a bit off toward the very end of the noise. My mother and I discussed it for quite a few days. It was loud but seemed to be contained in my driveway if you can understand that, was not in the distance.
I have no idea what it was. I researched the trumpet/earth sounds, ice yawing, ice cracking, etc. NOTHING comparable so far. it never happened again.
Very strange and it seemed so localized, like right out the window on the driveway. Wondering if anyone else has heard such things?

I'll also add that there have been several instances of the area going soundless, too. Three or four times, once recently when my windows were open and the frogs should have been active. Complete silence. I think it happened once last year, I actually thought I had gone deaf for a few minutes. Had to move to another room that had my computer monitor to check my hearing. There are always sounds around. Not common but it does happen here.

Hi Speck,
If it is only you and your mother living in your house they may think you're easy targets.

Hi.
September 2021. I landed a new job and relocated to Taree NSW. A few weeks into it a co-worker explained he was getting kicked out of his home as he had a big argument with his mum. The fella is in his 30s, I guess he was going thru a mid life crisis and ended back there for a bit. I myself was living in a little dog box above a local pub so I approached him with the idea of setting up a camp somewhere together. The idea being; we find a secluded spot out bush so we could leave the camp unattended while at work. (Save us having to pack up every morning and resetting in the arvo). Ultimately this would give him time to find a house and save some mullah while at it. I grew up on the Peel River outside of Tamworth, I’m well versed with life in the bush (or so I thought) so in my eyes it was better then my current situation.. So we did that. The spot we chose was off an old bike track deep into Kappinghat National Park. One night I’d been laying there for hours not being able to sleep. Wether it was 12am or 3am I don’t know but it was late. At some point I thought “farout it’s quiet”. I remembered earlier on the wildlife was going off like an out of time orchestra . As it always did. My mind was racing that night, so how long it had been quiet for I’m unsure as I was to focused on my thoughts. But seriously, no wind, not a single cricket chirping. Dead silent and still. Not long after my realisation I heard a hand full of leaves being dropped onto the top of the tent, followed by deep breathing coming from outside the tent to my left. I immediately went frozen and I mean fkn stiff. I lay there listening to this Inhale and exhale about 15 times until I heard my mate sobbing and whisper quite loudly “what the fk is that”. (He lay about 5 meters to my right). I didn’t reply to him. Whatever this was I knew it was big and I was honestly in fear that if it gets startled, we’re done for. After he said that, the breathing had stopped and that was it. One thing that really stood out to me after all this was I didn’t hear anything approach the tent OR leave. With all the debris, leaves and sticks on the ground I could never work that part out. You would have been able to here a termite crawling it’s way along this dense floor. I know this wasn’t the usual animal. The breathing was too controlled and just didn’t sound like any animal Ive ever heard. It sounded like a very heavy set man. It’s funny looking back at it because whatever it was new we were there, and all I could think about doing was controlling my own breathe trying to not let it be heard. My mate didn’t stay again after that night but I decided to hang around a week longer. I experienced the hand full of leaves being dropped on top of the tent around the same time every night. On my last night there. Similar scenario, laying up late. Dead silent and still. Heard nothing approach, just a metallic pulse directly above my tent. Like right there. Never heard this sound before but that’s the best way I can describe it, a metallic pulse. It was like a metallic beeping or scanning sound. It “beeped” 5 times then there was nothing. Again, it was dead silent prior to hearing this. I was thinking a drone but even the quiet ones you can still hear. And I was in deep forest, not sure who would be down there at that hour flying a drone. Note that I never saw anyone near my camp area during the entire stay.
Cheers guys n girls, stay safe out there and be aware, always

Hi Speck. I noticed you live near Ozark Mountain. Firstly, I would like to add this area was home to one of my favourite bands - The Ozark Mountain Daredevils. In relation to metallic sounds, I haven't heard similar but I have heard a sound like 44 gallon drums rolling down a hill where nothing was there/moving - it was a strange sound. This included dead quiet, no other noises other than the sound of the drums rolling. Usually lots of insect, etc noises - no noises for about 5-10 minutes, then the insects started up again. Drum noise lasted for about 20-30 seconds. Only heard this the once, other issues with our campsite that I feel were hairies - I didn't even suspect hairies at the time, I didn't really know about them then. During this event - Campsite wasn't near a farm or road. However, this has changed in recent times. The area was near Rockhampton, Queensland, Aus.

Sorry for the extra post here. I just read the other posts in this thread and I noticed the one from Iwanttobelieve re loose corregated iron. It got me thinking the sound of the rolling drums I mentioned could have been a similar sound to loose corregated iron. I did not want to say this, but all activity ceased when I fired a few rifle shots up the hill - it was a hunting trip. PS. my hunting dog wouldn't leave the tent all night. PSS. I don't go hunting with guns anymore and my dog now is a fluffy lap dog - how things have changed.

Geez, some awesome posts. aftcabin that sounds super spooky, I don't know how you managed to stay there for those last few nights.
Speck, I have heard/read about potential luring, often with mimic sounds - for example the sound of a young child. Wise to pick up on the possibility, well done.

Had the same. Hard to explain.
Flashes used to be one thing. Mainly in the BM's.
But a sound of a mechanical - something - where there sound be no noise, confounded me.

One sound I are getting with being approached is the sound of what sounds like a marble being shook vigorously in a can (this has happened several times). They do it intentionally when they are close (I suspect they are doing this to get attention). I have been in long grass and heard their footsteps approach me. What I recommend is that interested parties use professional audio recording devices particularly parabolic mics (the ones I use are shielded from emf and rf). The voices are shocking and some do not sound human. This goes over people's heads and I also get my name called as well. So I am methodical about recording what is going on. As also a paranormal investigator I look at that aspect as well. I have now invested in a Guide thermal 35mm pro camera to survey the scene. I need answers. I am not stopping. People wont believe the messages I am getting. They connect with other phenomena.
