The Return of the Thylacine

The three Hemsworth brothers have been in the news this week with their plans to bring the Thylacine back to life.

Gday Searcher good to hear from you.
I heard this story the other day and my first thought was they (Thylacine's) are already in small pockets of Australian wilderness, So.......why bother with the millions being invested trying to resurrect the creature?
I also dont know why there is this thing of trying to play God with genetics, resurrecting dead things, dinosaurs, woolly mammoths, at the expense of putting fear into living organisms, such as animals/humans in underground labs.
When and if the Thylacine is resurrected, or any of the above^^^ have people thought about where to release these creatures and what damage it will cause to the environment around it, or is it just for human entertainment???
Sometimes I wonder?

It probably would have the same success rate as restoring cryogenically preserved humans. Even if genetic restoration was possible imagine Pandora's box of horrors that would emerge if used for evil purposes.

I was just wondering if there was some reason, certain animals (e.g., Thylacine) had hair that glowed in the dark (black light).
Do hairies have this. Thinking really out there, could it have something to do with camouflage, deflecting light, or something else.

Another really good ABC News report on the possible survival of Thylacines.
A group of scientists re-examined a database of 1237 Tassie Tiger sightings since 1910. The conclusions are predictable and it reminded me of parallels found when investigating sightings and evidence of Yowies on the mainland. Judge for yourself.
