Interesting read on the subject of the almasty.
I think the yowie and the almasty are different beings entirely but its still makes for an interesting read.

Hi Bluedog
Thats a very long read by the looks of it.
Unfortunately I dont have the attention span these days to sit and read lengthy papers, I'm more of a watch or listen type.
Thanks for posting the link however I am sure someone will get some enjoyment out of it.
BTW not that I have read much on the almasty lately but I would have thought they would have similar traits to the Yowie?

To me from what I have researched online the almasty seem to be more of a wild man /primitive human.
While I don't profess to have any idea what a yowie is I don't believe it's a primitive human.
Yes the paper is long, 27 pages it's an interesting read.
Worth a look if you have 30 minutes to kill.

Yeah I guess everyone has a different explanation for them, I thought the almasty was just another name for a Yeti which looks very similar to a Yowie? so while there are many different types of Yowies there must be the same for almasty's I would assume?

Oh it would take me longer than that.
