Do yowies show themselves to certain families?

The reason im asking this is because most of my family have had weird things happen to us involving yowies. (either seeing a yowie or have many more things happen that strongly suggest a yowie presence extremely close by) but the strange thing is its only on my dads side of the family. All of us kids have had something strange, my dad has, his dad and his dads dad and atleast one of my dad’s siblings that i know of. My mum doesnt believe because nothings ever happened to her to make her believe. Shes the only one who hasnt experienced anything weird and she grew up camping in the bush.
Is it just coincidence or is it common for yowies to choose the people?

Hi Summer113,
They reveal themselves physically to selected people while others experience their supernatural presence. As you related in your previous post encountering something running around you but when you look around there's nothing there Yowies can virtually be 3 feet from you tap you on the shoulder and yet still remain invisible and these creatures are incredible mimics any sound from human baby cries to metallic sounds are not beyond their capabilities.

Yeah that totally makes sense because it sounded extremely close but none of us could see anything it felt like it wanted us to know it was there but didnt want to be seen. Or maybe it was playing games with us? It’s very puzzling hearing some weird call then running (of something large) right behind you and there’s nothing there, having said its very thick bush. My dad had a theory it may have climbed a tree while we we searched around the ground afterwards.
My dad, great grandpa and my younger sister also had other experiences that we believe was very likely a Yowie. So i wouldnt be surprised if it runs in families or maybe its just related to the property.
In regards to the sound it was very different to any animal I’ve heard before and sounded exactly like on a YouTube video we found of Yowie communication recordings only just yesterday which really was crazy for us.
