Requesting member assistance re possible Yowie sounds.

I have lived, woeked, hunted and fished in remote area's of Cape York, Far Northern Queensland Australia for many years, I'm a 68 year old male that once thought he'd seen most things of interest in the wilds of Cape York until.........

l had my first totally unexpected Yowie (Hairyman, Ginjardi, Doolligar) sighting on Friday 20th August 2021 in broad daylight out in the bush while hunting wild pigs by myself. I initially saw it standing beside a large paperbark tree completely out in the open. You can read my somewhat longwinded full report on AYR's forum around Oct 2021 if at all interested.

I had just shot a boar feeding in a wet swamp with my .308W so everything suddenly knew l was 'out and about'.
After alot of reading/Utube vid's and Podcasts etc I now believe it allowed me to see it as I remember l had the feeling it was as curious of me as l was of it, it looked to me to be some sort of an orange coloured 6' tall, very wide at the shoulders, hairy orrangutan with a shiny jet black face, conical shaped head and moved on 2 legs.
I felt no fear at all, in fact it somehow caused me to feel 100% totally at ease as l sat and watched it for some 10 minutes while l rested in the shade of a tree, my ease was nearly like we had previously met and already knew and trusted each other well, like meeting a well known old friend as an example.
When l had rested and decided to walk away from the encounter it was still playing 'tree peeking' but it was far to wide to fully hide behind the large 'V' shaped paperbark tree which l remember amused me.
l didn't even feel the need to look back to see if it was going to follow me or not.
I still can't figure out just how calm l was as it still doesn't make any sense to me as to why l was acting the way l was?.

What l was wanting to know if any one reading this can please assist me with this question?........

can these hairymen copy/imitate different sounds?.

Since my sighting back in 2021 l have camped out a number of nights by myself in the same area of my sighting and have heard various loud distinct unexplainable sounds that have woken me from my sleep during the night.
The sounds l have heard are,
1. Just the one time the sound of a loud heavy calibre rifle being discharged once only close by my camp.
2. Just the one time the distinct sound of a large tree falling over and hitting the ground with a thump.
3. l'm camped beside a mangrove lined saltwater river where my boat (my only transport to and from this location) is tied up overnight and on 'two seperate occasions' an extremely large sounding loud splash was heard in the river near my boat but by the time l had got to the river with a torch to check my boat no sign of water disturbance was seen?.

My question stems from as l'm in a very remote area indeed and no-one else would be discharging a rifle at two o'clock in the morning within an estimated 50 metres of my camp with no other lights or other sounds being made or heard??, l also checked for the fallen tree the next morning but there wasn't one to be found??, even though the river l camp beside does have saltwater crocodiles and the bush harbours wild cranky scrub bulls l have doubts the two huge splashes l have heard of a night could have been made by either one of them just because of the sheer huge volume of noise that was created with that no mistaking typical large splash sound. (keep in mind l didn't get to see any actual splash though as by the time l got out of my hammock, grabbed a torch and made my way to the riverbank in my jocks took possibly 2-3 minutes).

Thoughts anyone??.
Cheers Tim

Id suggest that you start watching the “ flash of beauty “ Paranormal Bigfoot interviews on YouTube if you haven’t already.
It is full of accounts of high strangeness like you describe.
I love the Cape York bush.

Hi Austral,
I'm pleased you brought that up as yes l have listened to some of the 'flash of beauty' stories on Utube which l enjoyed alot.
They also mention some unexplained sounds as well and thats where l got the idea of asking for Australian Yowie Research members help to possibly assist me here with regard to their own experiences with our Aussie bush Yowie friends and the possible sounds that they may be capable of reproducing.
I guess one just knows from a lifetime of experiences when sounds seemingly just don't ring true hey......as in my case. 😊

Bigfoot and the other small paranormal forest people can essentially record and playback any sound that they want. For instance, the highly complicated sound of a guitar being strummed, the highly complicated sound of a commercial truck backup beeper, the delicate sound of a drop of water falling into a small pool of water, a coyote howl, and more. And the swooping wing flutter sound that night hawks make at the bottom of a high speed dive as they pull out of that dive. And they also like to try to duplicate a blue grouse cooing, but they will be much deeper. The list is essentially endless.
