Yowie's and parasites

As newby and someone who is green in Yowie lore but experienced in the bush... I have a question concerning parasites and smaller friends of the Yowie...

While I can't claim to have read every report on sightings, I've read most. The interesting thing that has been lacking from reports on intimate daytime reports of Yowies, is flies.

Especially in reports when someone smells the Yowie during the day, I haven't seen any mention of flies when something is said to smell so horrible...

There are half a dozen around me at the moment...

And as for his hairyness, has anyone observed him scratching... Rubbing against trees and the like?

Virtually every life form on this planet has something smaller on it.

Any ideas...

Also... my apologies if some of my posts have been on the wry side, no offence is meant for anyone who feels that it takes away from the forum.

I am going to make that Yowie decoy though... have a stack of fur from spotlight... it's a bit glossy as it's synthetic so I'll have to dull it down.

Cheers Buck

Try taking the fur outside and just rubbing a bit of earth into it...shud do it some good to dull it a bit and give it more of a foresty, rugged look...

In the US, researchers have reported seeing bigfeet with patches of fur missing, usually from rubbing against a tree, like bears do. I assume it's the same for Yowies.

This is just an idea. In "the legend of boggy creek" they went out looking for the beast and brought their dogs.
As soon as the dogs smelt the big fella's scent, they wouldn't go any further and started going all weird. Freaking out and stuff. Not one of them would go in there at all. Getting Back to parasites. Maybe the flies r scared of the bigfoot/yowies. Maybe the yowies eat them. As I said, just an idea.

Well my dog eats flies, so why not a yowie. :P

What about paralyis ticks?
The possums are covered in them around here and as anyone who lives near the bush knows they can be deadly for cats, dogs and even humans.
How do you think they'd effect a yowie?
Snakes as well, we just had one at our front door the other day, I'd hate to imagine how many are around. Yowies must encounter them regulary over summer, what effect would you say a brown snake would have on a yowie if bitten?

Magzda, I think it would depend on the personality/intelligence of the dog. I have also read reports of dogs attacking BF!

WOW! Dogs attacking bigfoot. Imagine a poodle attackin
bigfoot. Even an Irish Wolfhound. Video footage of that would be great.

LOL! I think it was a shepherd. Witness described dog lunging at BF and BF sort of swiping at it with its arms.
