Found this on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCUMbCZTBsA I’m pretty sure no one here has seen it. It was only posted a few days ago. A couple of guys spotted the big fella while coming back from Carnarvon I’m guessing that’s Carnarvon in WA and not Carnarvon National Park in Qld

As far as I know WA sightings aren’t that common, It seems legit, certainly his description seems to fit.

Yes I agree with you both it’s not the best report that’s out there.

I just thought I would through it out there to see what the response was. Nevertheless he is a person and his experience is well, his experience we all have our moments in life even if the language used is… well, enough said.

That aside it does in my opinion seem creditable.

People who have there sightings (whether this is a sighting) usually wouldn’t know the first person to contact. They may tell a friend or a relative perhaps, if that, and then what, the sighting is lost or forgotten.

Most people would ether want to tell the first person they saw or keep it to themselves in case of ridicule and I’m the guessing the latter happens the most.

In this mans case he chose the web tell of his experience (again whether this is a sighing) and in frustration swore a bit.

Maybe someone should try contacting him to get to the crust of the issue.

I’m guessing it was Carnarvon in W.A, I Know the sightings there a scarce, but I always keep an open mind especially if you tend to lean to the paranormal side of things.

I guess I’m just to compassionate to a S@$% story

It's true that he's gone about it the wrong way, but that doesn't mean he's lying. In fact perhaps quite the opposite.

I know the only time I swear is to really emphasise a point. And he's REALLY emphasising that he saw something...although I wouldn't be surprised if that's how he talks to his mum.

The question arises....Why did he make this video? He's certainly not trying to be funny. If he is, he's failing miserably. And you don't go around saying stuff like that to make new friends.

Maybe he did see something that freaked him out a bit.

Due to the natural flow of profanities, it appears to me he was simply recounting his experience at the incident location for his own records. I liked the fact he was experiencing goose bumps whilst re-living it. The swearing isn't too out of place either considering he's recounting a yowie encounter with all the high emotions and strangeness that can go with these events.

In my opinion, that it's articulated with the heavy usage of profanities, adds to the candid nature of the clip. As a result, I highly doubt the spokesman will be receiving any invites to a current affair! I like it!!

Yep, I absolutly believe this foul mouthed red head. his elaborate use of adjectives and even sharing his need for private bodily functions would not be in a rehearsed and choreographed hoax clip.
they are out there.

Ahhh Thanks for your support guys I too was moved buy its rawness and the fact he got Goosebumps while retelling his story and his ability to recite exact locations to where he did his dump, to which way they walked and saw him cross the road.

There was something about it that made me believe he did infact see something.

Not knowing Carnarvon very well and having a quick look on Google maps the area is pretty scarce, not many area’s for the big fella to hide so in that respect the sighting goes against him. But yet again I always keep an open mind especially if one leans to the paranormal.

It strikes me odd to note that these guys pop up in the most unusual places time and again.

Hi everyone,
Yep, I think he's the real deal. He was absolutely DESPERATE to get his experience off his chest. Pity he didn't give any other details apart from the size of the creature.

OMG, I had to wipe away tears of laughter though!

It would be great if one of our researchers could get to him for an interview - he has probably calmed down a bit by now.

Poor bugger - I know how he's feeling.

Hi everyone,

Well, believe it or not I actually know this bloke (not personally however). This is the main reason i'm inclined to think its fake. Being an ex-digger myself, i know first hand how much c**p we could make up when we had a bunch of mates with us..

Saying that I have heard and seen things up in the NT whilst in the military, that I cannot explain. And this is probably what has turned me from a rock-hard skeptic to joining these forums..

The area in question appears to be the lonely stretch of station country running South from Carnarvon towards Geraldton and has dense bushland with heaps of feral goats.
I can recall reports of Yowies being sighted around Shark Bay which is on the coast not far from this road.
Many large cats have been sighted as well.

My initial response to that gentleman's expressions is that he truly believed what he was saying.

I spent some time going into prisons to teach the inmates, and the level of profanity they used to express themselves would be considered pretty much ordinary given this gentleman's expression.

around Sharks bay is I believe where the supposed sighting took place.

Yet another case of yowies and big cats being sighted together. If infact he was telling the truth
