Music & Yowies.

Unread post by Alex »

This may sound stupid.. but when you think of yowies & bigfoot, etc, what music do you associate with them?

Like, if you could make up a soundtrack to go the whole hominid thing, what would it be?
I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here.

From the yowies point of view, I'd go with "Surfacing" by Slipknot.

"Running out of ways to run
I can?t see, I can?t be
Over and over and under my skin
All this attention is doing me in!"

From our point of view, it'd be "Between The Worlds", by Caliban.

"deeply hidden in the deepest wood
black is the night
the owls are singing, between the worlds
the guard between the shadows searches for fear"

I would have posted all the lyrics for the Slipknot song, but I don't think people here would appreaciate all the swearing. :P

Credence sounds cool, but the song for a yowie infested forest would have to be " Bad moon a risen" by credence, yep yep if i heard that song before a yowie expedition ......it would make me think twice............but hey im a tragic Pink Floyd fan , have been since the late 60's the Animals album played nice and loud out in the bush at night is freaky....yeah baby ( mind you back in the 60's and 70's we would have had some mushies to help set the mood)
