...what would be the legal rights of a Yowie???...

Unread post by stickyfingers »

...seeing that there is a little bit of angst (burnt up) (curse) on other threads within the Yowie Discussion Board... I've decided to start this as a tongue-in-cheek (poke tongues) thread regarding what would be a Yowies (taz) legal rights if he was either captured OR contacted and brought into civilised contact with us all... (not that I believe a Yowie (taz) is UNcivilised of course)... I thought that this might "lighten up" everybody and generally have somewhere for everyone to come just for a bit of light-hearted fun (rad) (happy) (claps hands) (uh uh) (poke tongues) (jest) ...

... I've thought about this side of things since I created this "Bling Yowie" for the "Design a Sticker" competition...

...I'll start this thread off with a few of MY rather stupid and inane questions as to what his legal rights would be...

(1)... would he be arrested for indecent exposure seeing that he is naked??? (taz) ...

(2)... would he be put into a detention center (guns pose) because he has no birth certificate or passport???...

(3)... would he have to apply for Australian citizenship??? (bushman) ...

(4)... would Kevin Rudd have to say "sorry" to him??? (respekt) ...

(5)... would he have to register for Centerlink??? (kill) ...

(6)... would he have to have a haircut / furcut? to look presentable??? (eek) ...

(7)... would he have to have a manager such as Harry M Miller to handle all his affairs and legalities??? (no brains) ...

(8)... would he be classified as a vagrant??? (ninja) ...

(9)... would he be made to brush his teeth before appearing on TV??? (cheesy) ...

(10)... >>>>>> please insert questions here <<<<<< ...

... anybody have any other curious questions???... (burnt up) OR answers to the above questions???... as I say... this is a fun thread... complete and utter sillyness IS encouraged!... cheers... Stickyfingers. (cool) (happy) (jest)

Believe it or not Sticky...ihave thought about this very question, my main issue is that if they are declared more human than ape, then what rights are afforded them....LAND RIGHTS, where does that leave Indigenous folks as the so called original owners, yeah do they come under Family Services or Parks and Wildlife......i reckon if we spoke with the Hon Peter Garrett hed understand......How can we sleep while are yowies are churning..do do do...how can we sleep while our Yowie beds are burning ( dancing like peter arms flapping.....i should get back to work ...getting a little carried away here.

No doubt it would be chased down by Harry M. Miller to sign an agency agreement for exclusive rights to the interview by:
Today Tonight;
A Current Affair; or
Andrew Denton.

Either that or:
Rex Gilroy
Tim The Yowie Man
Australian Yowie Research on behalf of Culf Coast Bigfoot Research Organisation.

If caught alive, I've no doubt that the 'Thinking Man's Yowie' would probably organise his own exclusive rights deal on the paranormal pay TV channel and be represented by the Greys interpreting through Whitley Strieber.

OK Sticky, gauntlet has been thrown down, here's my flippant and totally inappropriate replies...

(1)... would he be arrested for indecent exposure seeing that he is naked??? Naked is good... naked is good.... he's cut, he's macho - Playgirl would probably feature him in a special edition calling him "Wowee, Yowie!"

(2)... would he be put into a detention center because he has no birth certificate or passport??? No detention centre could keep him inside! And frankly, I think the guards would feel a LOT better if he was outside!

(3)... would he have to apply for Australian citizenship??? Nope, he was probably here first anyway. Vegemite runs in his mighty veins.

(4)... would Kevin Rudd have to say "sorry" to him??? Only if he stepped on his big feet

(5)... would he have to register for Centerlink??? No, Missinglink

(6)... would he have to have a haircut / furcut? to look presentable??? Nah, I like my men scruffy and a bit different

(7)... would he have to have a manager such as Harry M Miller to handle all his affairs and legalities??? I think Chuck Norris might fit the bill, though

(8)... would he be classified as a vagrant??? maybe, but are YOU going to be the one to tell him?

(9)... would he be made to brush his teeth before appearing on TV??? There's enough fluoride in our water now to gradually filter through the water supply into nature. I'm sure his lack of TimTam munching means he has super teeth anyway.

(10)...
How DO you make that smell????

Silliness!

Kind regards,
Shazz
