yowie doing it tough down south

Unread post by lil foot »

well if it wasnt dry enough down in vic already, and food and water sources scarce, now we have the bush fires tearing through prime yowie real estate.
on the 45 then 46.4 degree days we had possums, sugar gliders and birds dropping dead around us, if that hadnt thinned out the animal population enough, then the fires would make sure of it. and of course not just animal casualties, but human, and to think most of these fires are deliberately lit, i say hang the bastards!!!
one of my favourite research haunts the bunyip forest is almost wiped out and as we speak my avatar looks to be gone also, only here as a piece of history now.
and for yowie, lets hope he moved north when the dry started to better pastures, who knows maybe he fled to far north queensland to escape the heat (confused)

the smiling tree stump is actually in the black range state park at murriundindi.
since i started this thread i have lost more than my avatar, i know 2 individuals who have perished in the fires, and many more who are in the line of the fires. its hell on earth down here.
if you pray, please pray for us,
thanks
