You will have a great time guys............Plenty of spots to camp. Mind you the bush is slowly taking the farmland back. Back in 1985 on my first trip the farmland was twice as big. Anyway go past the site of the original farmhouse and on the right in the bush there should be an old stone hut perfect for staying.
Some nice trout in the river a few kilometres south of the farmhouse site. Boil the water before drinking. Watch out for the wild horses the big male dont take any shite from anyone believe me.
How far is it roughly from the big white gate to the old farm?
I went trudging through the bush in the rain all night last night until 4am. I went to the Blue Mountains again.First to Tablelands road and then headed to the Megalong Valley. All I saw was 2 Wombats. Have there been any sightings in pouring rain that anyone has heard of?
