This is my first post. Unfortunately I've never seen or experienced anything crypto but I am an avid interrogator when I smell the hint of a good story.
I've collected a few anecdotes that I haven't seen posted anywhere else. This enhances the authenticity in my opinion.
So this story is about a guy (friend of my friends girlfriend), who went walkabout in the blue mountains. He just headed into the wild, bush bashing in some sort of 'find yourself' effort.
He was sitting on some rocks when he saw a pack of animals run past. They were swift and relatively soundless and weaved through the tightly packed trees and scrub expertly.
His first thought was "it's a pack of wild dogs". (Which I found creepy enough) But they were all the same colour and seemed "wrong" somehow in the low sleek way they sped by.
He thought "they GOTTA be thylacine's".
Later on he told the story to people he knew and said they were striped.
He is also known to have a had a non-smoked drug problem in earlier years.
I don't know what to make of it, is he just a drugged up drifter making stuff up or did he really see something?
Either way the best part of the story is the way he phrased his assumption, it's now become one of my catchphrases: "I don't know what that is, it's GOTTA be a thylacine!"
