Re: Expedition II
Thanks guys will try our hardest thats all we can do. I think a lot of luck is needed with these Expeditions. Hey chewy now you mention it when i was done there fighting those fires, we had a few people come in to the staging area at different times talking about how the trees are falling so quickly which was a major hazard for everyone there.
But they also said how there was bloody idiots up in the hills belting wood against the trees all the time, i dident think much of it at the time , but then it hit me could it have been the big guys maybe????? il try and find the local were they wear for you mate.

Re: Expedition II
good luck bb
hey pick a dryer weekend this time.
just a thought: try spam (its ham in a can) on a pan over the fire
in small portions at a time, just think the longer the spam (its ham in a can) scent is in the air, the better the chance of the hungry, spam (its ham in a can) loving hairyman will pick up on it, especially with a swirling breeze.
my mate and his wife just got back from an island off malaysia and said the monkeys invaded his camp after he cooked pork on a grill on the fire, the smoke drifted up to the cliffs where the monkeys live and by the time they had eaten the monkeys had arrived and werent too happy there was no leftovers, they ran too there tent and stayed in there all night while they heard the monkeys searching for any pork crumbs, needless to say not much sleep was had.

I've heard of US hunters frying up bacon specifically to lure bears. Like many of us, it seems they can't avoid the allure of cooked pig!lil foot wrote:just a thought: try spam (its ham in a can) on a pan over the fire
