CALLED "WHORES" AGAIN BY GAOL SPIRITS MAITLAND GAOL

In Jan 2007 I obtained an evp from maitland Gaol in the daytime. It was of 2 spirits. One calls us "whores" and the other answers "yes" to my question of whethre there is a spirit in there.

Now..........Last sat night we visited Maitland Gaol again as we do regularly. Again we were in B wing which consists of 3 levels. The murderers and rapist were housed on the top level. The evp we got 2 years ago, while we were up the top. These following evp were taken on the ground level. Present were myself, chris our video girl and derek. Derek was quiet and chilling out. I am having a bit of a joke with the inmate spirits, talking about being called "whores" In the first evp you will here us being called" WHORES" again (00:22) after I call them manwhores lol

Shortly after, I was playing around again and call them 'pigs' and at 00:12 the spirit calls us "WHORES.....G'DAY ???"
Unfortunately I yawned right at the wrong time and think I cut out the last word after g'day.

Interesting EVP's... Do you ever see or here anything when you are out recording?

In this place, yes all the time.

I always feel that the prisoners are standing leaning over the rails watching us and outside their cells. This time my sister was walking along another investigator and suddenly ducked to avoid somethign that wasnt there. The other girl asked her what she wsa doing and she asked if she had done it which she said she didnt. My sister said that she saw a black arm come at her face and it was enough to make her react and duck.

Often you will feel like you are being touched. Doors open and close all the time and these are real heavy cell doors. You often hear the railings being banged up the top when you ask them to let us know they are there. Often too we well see lights or shadows.You will hear whispers too that everyone will hear at the same time.

I would love to go out to some of those old humted places and try it myself. But I'm afraid the only EVP's I would be able to record would be the sound of me, "Evacuating Very Promptly" to the nearest exit..... ...lol

I have always been fascinated with EVP's ever since my Nephew recorded a EVP accidentally. James was playing around with some of his mates in the kitchen recording themselves singing and what not, pretending to be rock stars or something. After making the one-hit wonder they played it back and heard a strange voice in the back ground saying "I'm sorry" a couple of times and then nothing. Not knowing who it was they played it back to James mum who instantly recognised the voice, that of her late husband David who had passed 5 years earlier. I listened to the recording a few weeks after and I can say it sounds exactly like the voice of my brother Dave. Whether or not it is...??? but it would have to be one of the spookiest thing I've ever heard.

Interesting EVPs - more luck than we had this past weekend in Maitland gaol. A big fat zero.
We had more action at the haunted place we stayed the night in. Them's the breaks!

I just wanted to add somethin gto this post because I have played with that last "whores...g'day" and discovered that it says more.

I have enhanced and slowed and noise reducted some more and now am hearing this said

Greetings,my name is Scott and I'm new to this. Maitland gaol sounds like an interesting site.Sounds like you have more than regular access to the place. Myself and my wife have been having experiences like this since childhood.In the past I've always checked out the postings on the yowie page but never ventured onto this part of the forum.Good to know there is somewhere to go to find imformation on places we haven't heard of before.

I don't know anything about jails (gaols) or ghosts, but there are definitely more things going on than anybody knows about or that can be explained by science. Glad you're here, Scott, there's definitely a lot of info on this part of the forum. I love Bigfoot (and Yowie) and other cryptids, and don't know anything about ghosts and orbs, but this is a good place to learn.

How about posting some of the experiences you and your wife have had?

G'day Ella,love to as we find all this stuff really interesting and find it hard to find anyone to talk to about such things.Our own apartment has become a hot bed of activety over the last 6 months.Got heaps of orb,spectral mist and actual ghost photo's over this period.Unfortunetly while fooling with my camera I accidently wiped about halve of them.Still managed to keep some of the best ones.My wife has some cajun in her family from New Orleans,some of the spirits have been from this part of the family. The spirit of her grand father visits quit a bit. Usually when things are going bad he,ll turn up and tell us when things are going to get better.When myself and my wife first started dating I meet her grand ma on our second date.At this point grandma had been dead since the 1930's,but was part of Christines life and was always with her.I must say that grandma had a very broad sense of humor.I'm not really prepared to go into too much detail on an open forum but lets just say as soon as grandma turned I knew.Her intention was to scare the c**p out of me.When I was more intriuged than scared I got her repect from the start.We had some interesting conversations over the years and on a couple of occasions she protected us from harm when we'd blundered into situations over our head.It was a sad day 4 years ago when grandma told us she needed a break and was going to look up other relatives for a while.That and she was a bit worried her precsence might scare our children as they were going to start picking up on things.She checks in from time to time.We have others around though and when ever there isn't any around (which isn't often) it feels as if something is missing.

Wow, Scott yall have really had some fascinating experiences! One good forum to visit and join is Whitley Streiber's message board at unknowncountry.com. There are a good number of people posting there who post about their experiences with spirits of the dead. I only post on the cryptozoology forum myself, but there is tons of "ghost information" there for anyone who is interested and would like to participate.

I had a friend who past away. We also had a friend who was Psyhic. He used to visit her and supposable had sex with her. Funny thing is we believe her as he was that type of guy. And the other funny thing is another mate was going out with her at the time and was jelious. True story.

I also had a girl friend a few years back whos house supposable was built on a aboriginal tribe leaders land and wasnt happy. I scoffed at the idea untill i seen muddy footprints appear out of no where on the carpet and smoke stains on the roof. Once we went to the house late one afternoon and water was coming down the stairs. Cheeky bugger turned the taps on upstairs.

G'day bowhunter. I watch all those shows on Fox that have anything to do with anything paranormal, can't help myself. Some of them are so cheesy it defies description. Some times we just laugh our faces off because we have more going on in our apartment than some of these shows have in an episode. The latest one GHOST ADVENTURES with the young American bloke that goes out to provoke responses has us in absolute stitches of laughter sometimes. Find ourselves hoping something will happen to him just for the laugh value. The way some of these shows sensationalize leaves me in no wonder about the amount of sceptics out there,although in saying that I find that if you dig a bit deeper they don't want to believe because it scares them.Sorry to anyone trying to communicate recently.Haven't checked the site for a while,wife tore strips off me when she seen what I wrote on the forum.For years we 've been teaching our kids that they can't talk to anyone about this and then I writing in an open forum.Oh well time wounds all heels.

With all due respect to your wife, please consider telling us more, as long as you don't get into trouble!

We are all interested in these sorts of things, otherwise there wouldn't be a forum for it on AYR, and if confidentiality is an issue, rest assured most of us wouldn't have a clue how to find out who you are or any of that kind of info, though you may already have communicated with other AYR forum members who have some idea.

I'm all for bringing unexplained things out into the open so they can be examined, but you be the best judge as to how comfortable you are with that kind of disclosure.

G'day Shazz,thanks for the welcome. As far as the wife goes she's calmed down a bit now,as you said this is almost anonamus. It comes from being ridaculed in the past.That and worried about the kids becoming targets for bullies.As far as relating experiences sure I love talking about this stuff,its what attracted me to the site.The first experience happened when I was twelve.My family had just moved to a new home in Sydney from near Newcastle.I started high school at the same time.Because I was older I was allowed to stay up late to watch the midnite horror movies on weekends(no foxtel then) House of Hammer thrillers and Christopher Lee vampire filcks had me quivering with fright till sun up. One night after going to bed about three in the morning I heard foot steps walking up the hall.I told myself it was dad going to the toilet.When the footsteps stop at the end of the hall and came back I was really listening.As the steps walked past each door along the hall the door knob was twisted and then released. Starting to really c**p myself at this point I turned on my side away from the door. The steps went up the hall again,twisting and rattling the door knobs again,only this time when it got to my door, after rattling the handle the door opened.The hair on my scalp and neck felt like it was standing on end,I was rigid with fear.I asked if it was my younger sister, hopeing it was her playing a prank.When I got no answer I summoned up the courage to turn over and look. Stand in the door way was a full body apparition of a large old man. He was was wearing bit and brace overalls that were very tatty, a battered old hat and a full bushy beard with dark stains down it.I was the most scared I had ever been in my life to that point. As I was looking at him he slowly faded away. We lived in that house for a couple of years. Never seen him again but felt his precence a couple of times after. A couple of weeks later I told my younger sister. She reckoned I was geeing her up because she had heard me at night walking around playing with the door knobs and trying to scare her.
