Hi guys;

I want to introduce myself to this forum and learn more about the yowie and people’s experiences.

I do have a small confession to make; I did find the yowie phenomena difficult to believe as my mind kept saying; “where are the hair samples”, and, how can a large beast escape detection for so long.

What made me think twice was a conversation I had with a person who was highly regarded in the community. He was (back then anyway) a spiritualist church leader in a church located in the lower Blue Mountains (NSW). I was there by fluke as I am not a church person by nature.

Anyway; I asked the minister about all the yowie stories and wanted his opinion to see if the stories had any real substance to them. His answer; hell yes, he proceeded to tell me a full on encounter with one while sleeping in his car. This, coming from a church minister knocked me for six.

I currently live in Brisbane and regret leaving the Blue Mountains (was only there for a short time though) as some parts of it had a really strange feel to it. Recalled feeling that someone was stalking us while bush walking and feeling a little freaked out.

The more I read about yowies; including listening to cases on this forum the more I realise we are dealing with one very intelligent creature. It would not surprise me if yowies could traverse between dimensions; hence avoiding capture.

:)

Welcome, Yowie88,

I'm also from Brissie, still am, in fact, so don't feel that you're out of place, LOL!

We look forward to discussing things of interest with you and all members to this forum, young or old.

Kind regards,
Shazzoir
