Wooooooo! Better put me down for a copy, Mike, this will be a good read! Congratulations to both you and Ruby for getting this to print - it's a long and arduous journey to get anything published, so (respekt)

Can't wait to get it onto my bedside table for evening reading! It looks awesome!

Kind regards,
Shazz

Thanks Shaz...We are hoping it will become the "bible" of Australian Big Cat research.
I dont think anyone will bother after this..we were still wacking in a ripper case..on the actual day it was handed over to the graphic design people.

Congrats to you both on getting the book to this point.
I have a mate who has been involved with researching and writing a book over a number of years, so I know how much time and effort you've had to put in to get this far.
As my interest in crypto stuff started with big cats I'll definatly be getting a copy for my library.
Can you give us a "heads up" on this site with details of where to get a copy when it is available?

On page 74, speaking of the description that Myles & Bert saw has reminded me of something i saw in Lebanon 16yrs ago

It was called a "dubbeh"... apparently they had a history of coming in to the villages & taking children...

It was a myth because it was apparently extinct.. but one day my BF at the time took me into the mountains & showed me one theyd shot, it was around 80kgs & had cat like paws but a wolf head, a long wold head not a short one, ie long snout & huge huge fangs... it almost looked like a hyenah , i have heard people call them hyenahs over there too but not sure what i saw, i dont think it was a hyenah!!
Any one heard of the dubbeh? If not, than Mike maybe you may be able to ask one of your sources if you have any thats done any work over there?

I know that at night i heard the crazy evil laughter thing hyenas do, & i asked my grandma what it was & she said the 'dubbeh.. it was like 50 of them all 'laughing' at once just like hyenas do but more human sounding
