Christmas Creek Reconnaisance

Unread post by scuba »

(tank) Has anyone had any luck here?
I was lucky enough to get the day off today, and as I was close by, I decided to do a quick recon of Christmas Creek.
For those who don't know the area, it is on the western edge of Lamington National Park.
I found many animal tracks including some suspicious footprints that where slightly larger than mine (size10US) but appeared to have been made by something of much greater weight.
The recent rain and a human walking past could account for these tracks but they appeared to show the edges of toes instead of a shoe sole.
Interesting....

Sorry guys, the prints weren't much good so no pics or plaster (no brains)

Just over the hill from the Border Ranges Nat Park , there has been plenty of action in that area , check out the reports from Woodenbong / Kyogle area in the reports section of the AYR web site , if you have any doubts .

MY FINAL DECISION IS MAYBE .............
IF YOU DO NOT LOOK YOU WILL NOT SEE
