No Welcome Wagon?

Unread post by rb2d2 »

Couldn't find any special place to introduce myself so am doing it here. Excuse any mess I might leave. (oops)

I'm just visiting and reading. I know nothing about Yowies. Very impressive place you have here.

Welcome, Rb2d2, (nearly typed R2D2 then)

Stick around, explore the place, pull up a seat and tell us about yourself, as we'd love to know a little about you, how you found your way here, which cryptids you are intereseted in, your hopes and dreams, bank account details.... only kidding! Just that we love to meet and greet new folks and it's easy if we find some common ground :)

Kind regards,
Shazzoir

Thank you all for the welcome. (uh uh)

"how you found your way here" ... Now that was a winding, long, complicated many forked road helped by coincidence, mistake, curiosity and investigation. Oh and a misplaced email address. LOL

Would you believe I'm a friend of Ella's for about 8 years and she is not the one that led me here. I had no idea she posted here until I arrived on the scene and saw her name. It is indeed a small world and how we get around in it is amazing.

Over time I have enjoyed seeing pictures and reading stories about our North American Bigfoot but to be honest I'm not too eager to come face to face with one of these creatures let along try to track one down. (eek)

I'm still exploring the place.

HI RB

Good to have ya ! do you have any Big Foot reports to relay that is I am assuming that being a friend of Ella's you hail from the good ol USA , it is allways good to hear it from an international perspective . And any friend of Ella's is a friend of mine , I have a lot of respect for that girl .

MY FINAL DECISION IS MAYBE ...........

Thank you, Al! And RB has been my computer guru for years and there is virtually nothing about Windows that she can't fix. I'm sure she could work on my Safari too. She has her own Texas web site called Rosebud Community, a very good, general site where you can post about anything you want. She even has my art work there (I'm only a hobbyist) and the work of Dave "Fishead" Tackett, who is the finest visual poet you'll ever hope to see.

Stick around, RB, and learn about Yowies and more about Bigfoots here! (taz) (claps hands)

Hey Ella! I'll drop by ever so often to check things out. And keep an eye on you! (sweat drop)

Silver Status, the only Bigfoots I've come across are the ones at the end of my jean legs. LOL

RB told me on her own message board, Rosebud Community, that she is just not all that excited about the Yowie! She does not discount the existence of Bigfoot in North America, but I get the feeling she has little interest in them either. She did post a painting of mine on her web site of a Bigfoot mother and little one that appeared in a book a good number of years ago, so anyone here who does Bigfoot or Yowie art (or any art) should contact her and get it posted in her gallery! If you don't have her e-mail address, just e-mail me at [email protected]. A lot of my art (I'm only a hobbyist, of course) is on her web site. She always welcomes new art, and since it's just a nice iittle hobby for me in my old age, you obviously don't have to be professional! (taz) (ninja)

Her web site and message board are at http://4xearth.net/phpBB2/
