Bear suit!

Unread post by Alex »

The Ursus Mark VI suit is what people need to find Yowies with. No matter what it did, this thing could withstand it.

Someone buy one. :D
I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here.

Yes Alex, the Ursus Mk VI is far superior to the Ursus Mk V. Highly recommended for people who wish to pepper spray bears.

Did you see the documentary?

It's a pretty impressive suit. What's more impressive is sheer though that went into it.

Personally I think I'd prefer to be in one of those deep diving suits.

I don't know why I was thinking about this last night, but how would a Yowie attack someone? Beat it into submission first & then, do whatever? Bite?

I'd think more, if attacking from behind, kind of leap up on the persons back & try to break their neck? I think the bear suit would have more of a chance of withstanding that.

Bear Suit

I don't think it really matters how but more what damage they would do to you in a short amount of time.

Imagine a big strong bloke beating the c**p out of you, then multiply that by 5 and add teeth, claws and the overall shock of being attacked by a monster, and you should get sort of an idea.

Whether they leap on your back, bite you, tear your head off or just jump all over you, if they are determined you will be history. We had a bloke decide that he wanted to fight a monkey (baboon) in Africa once but luckily was talked out of it by a couple of locals. A 10-15 kg baboon is more than a match for a big human male. They are unbelievably strong, fast and bite, scratch, scream and are basically all over you. So imagine a 500kg apeman doing this. It would all be over before you knew what happened.

Ok. Being attacked by yowie = jumping into a wood chipper. Got it.

I've always wondered how Bruce Lee would go up against a Bigfoot. Hell, even a bear, how would that go.

The wood chipper sounds like your best option after hearing Cass's description.

As for how it attacks you, do you think it kicks and rakes with it's feet as well. Seems to me... one swipe and you're history if it connects.

I've seen footage of Gorillas when they charge. Admitedly, the charge is not one of hunger but usually motivated by fear or protection.

Still, I can't see myself running through the bush being pursued by a Yowie and thinking... "Don't worry Buck, the snapping trees, the horrible howl.. he's just scared of me... awww"

"Hey fellah... Give me a hug"

CHOMP!

Whether he eats me or pummels me... I don't think it will stop unless he wants it to... or is full.

If Yowie's thought we were good to eat... I think a few more people might have disappeared by now.

Maybe they have? Great Post... How do they attack?

havent you heard the joke where the guy goes bear hunting with a rifle, shoots and misses the bear ,the bear throws him over a log and has his way with him and strolls back into the forest ,so the guy goes and gets a bigger gun, shoots and misses the bear ,the bear does his usual and walks away(probably to have a sleep-or tell his mates!)so the guy buys a bazooka and aims carefully, shoots and MISSES ! as the bear throws him over the log(again!!) the bear says "you arent into this for the hunting are you!!" and you think he wants to eat you is the worry

Yowie attack

Unread post by Wally »

Dawn!!!!!! Im shocked.
Apart from the friviality I know of 2 cass of obvious attack from yowie. A goat with head twisted in 360 degree twist and then some.
A dried out kangaroo carcass screwed into a ball and left on bush track. In the same area small bushes were smashed flat to the ground. A strong hint that the observer was not welcome.
Hair recovered from the broken sticks was sent by organisation to 2 noted analysts (man and woman) and declared to be dog. I sent specimen of same hair to same man and he declared it to be easten grey kangaroo. I still have some specimen and intend to send it to Europe to a real analyst.
Observer still visits his hidden valley in spite of warnings. He carries out a mind purification ritual before entering the area of observation, gets rid of the bad vibes.
He often sees evidence of big cat/ thylacoleo in the area so they must all get along together OK
Cheers Wally  8)

Now Im not sure what a Yowie would be capable of doing, but I figure it could be extreme.

A possible relative of the Yowie, an Alma in Russia, towards the Siberian end, was seen by on field researcher to tear a bear in half.

It essentially grabbed it by the rear legs and ripped it straight down the middle.

Ouch!!!!
