Re: Strange animal captured!
Oh, Lord have mercy, another canine with end-stage sarcoptic mange.
Here in the USA, specifically in Texas and a few other places--I think Maryland--such poor creatures (coyotes and perhaps foxes) have been captured or shot dead, or bodies found. They need to be put out of their misery, humanely euthanized or at least shot dead from as close a range as possible.
Yeah, there's been a big flap that they're Chupacabras, too! In America, every bleeding animal that's not immediately identifiable is a Chupa, a wastebasket diagnosis if ever there was one. Fools get all excited--or maybe it's just the media desperately seeking tabloid trash, I don't know. But the pitiful creature in the photo is definitely some kind of canid suffering horribly with end-stage sarcoptic mange. Since there are no coyotes in China (AFA I know, anyway), it could be some kind of dog or whatever wild canids they have over there.
But great balls of fire! I can't believe this particular little fantasy of a supposed cryptid of unknown etiology, or another egg-sucking Chupa, is still floating around the Internet. Those promoters of such fool business need to get a life.

Re: Strange animal captured!
If that pathetic creature's life can't be saved with multiple mange dips--probably too far gone for a cure--then it needs to be humanely euthanized. Just shooting the poor thing in the head would be instant death and merciful. What are these people thinking of, keeping it captive in such a horrible condition? Just as a public attraction? SICK, SICK, SICK!!!!
