Re: skunk ape pictures?
Thanks Chopper.
That was very Gorilla-like. I am sure there are many species out there.
The species that we are currently researching would be Australopithecine's by the look of them. Not quite as bulky as depicted in that video, or what I have been used to in the past.
Interesting. Thanks.

Re: skunk ape pictures?
Cheers Chopper. It looks like a gorilla to me.
The things with photos like this is that they need to be backed up by a lot of research. This is a vague report at best. You know, it could have been easily taken at a zoo! There are so many cases and hoaxes like this that without supporting research, evidence and follow-ups by respected researchers than cases like this one have to be thrown into the
pile until proven otherwise.
In regards to skunk ape research I like to follow the work of fasonotampa.

I agree with Sab..gorilla..the money shot cannot be matched to the previous images of the yard. There are two shots of the gorilla..the second showing its eye.
Yet the PIR camera magically didnt pick up the animal initially walking into the frame..or walking out...
what are the odds of that..good hoax!!

Re: skunk ape pictures?
Without any objective measurement or a large enough field of view to relate within the photo as provided, it appears to me to be a forced perspective scene (Alfred Hitchcock was a master of this). I would be inclined until other visual images are supplied, to think we are looking at an otter or nutria (not a beaver as one commentor said; the alleged location is out of their natural range and they are stocky & fuzzyand kinda sorta triangular in body shape). Notice the fur/skin flap where you would expect the shoulder of a biped should be (looking rather like the front leg of a dog).
All that being said, I do like the eye peek ..... cheeky gorillas!!
Sab, I've been following Tony in Florida for awhile..... he does good stuff and is willing to share in what I see as an honest & open manner.

Re: skunk ape pictures?
To me, this looks like a hoaxed photograph of a gorilla superimposed on the photo of the garden in Florida.

And ROTFL, that "Florida Bigfoot Hunter" from "fasanotampa" looks himself like a shaved Bigfoot wearing clothes! It's a scream.

Plus I've never seen a picture of Tom Biscardi, will have to try to find one on Google and see him for myself. I know he's a crazy hoaxer, and the only people who believe his fool lies are those who know absolutely nothing about BF and just happen to see his latest hoax on the news.

Re: skunk ape pictures?
When I first saw these pictures, they sent chills up my spine!
On closer analysis though, the brown hair on the head and black/grey hair of the shoulders and body is exactly consistent with gorilla. As someone else noted, the background seems more lush than the other pictures of the caller's backyard, the pictures are of very high resolution (7mp or 8mp +) which I don't think that particular trail camera takes. The eye picture with the rest of the face obscured is highly suspicious. The ear fits the Gorilla template and the telltale facial difference between gorilla and bigfoot is the nose which can't be examined! The nose is always very human-like with bigfoot/yowie.
I ain't buying just yet. A little investigation would either greatly strengthen or greatly weaken this one.

Very good analysis, Steve. All I can say, knowing nothing about photography, is that the picture looks fake to me. Looks like the gorilla was cut out and placed on the lush tropical background.

Well, Tony, I'll look for the web site. Tom "Discardi" don't amount to a hill of beans and is a freaking charlatan. He's just a waste of space and an insult to even my limited intelligence and scarce fund of information. That business of the "body" found in Georgia made me want to throw up, especially when people who don't know squat, and scarely knew the word "Sasquatch" or "Bigfoot", walked up to me and said, "Hey, they found the body of a Bigfoot." I said I don't think so, but got on line and looked up the news, and I was actually emotionally upset that ANYBODY, even a subliterate meltdown, would believe such a fool thing. Tom Discardi needs killing or else to be put in a good nursing home.

This has been debunked long ago. For starters was the whites of the "skunk ape's" eyes. Second, two days after the incident we never found any evidence of anything other than a wild pig had been within two hundred yards of the property. The person who owns the property acted as if the whole thing was a joke when we interviewed her. She didn't even know half of the info that was in the report. Sorry....just another hoax.

Sorry to hear that anyone follows anything that Tom Fasano does. I guess if looking at old rotten boats and pictures of palm scrub is your thing then more power to you. His knocking recording was the funniest thing I ever heard. Sounds more like a Treasure Island Drum circle than a skunk ape knocking. I even pointed out the squelch when he turned on another tape recorder or DSR to make the recording while holding it too close to the microphone and he took my post down from the site. He has about 5 different web sites that he started to get more coverage then he deserves. Mostly....like I said....if you like looking at his ugly mug in front of the camera huffing and puffing as if he's about to go into cardiac arrest....then by all means.....support him. Everyone here in the southern US thinks he's a joke.

I am sure it has...we were just shown it..we debunked it as well.
Fair enough..which "skunk ape" tree knocks/sounds..of any sort are you comparing it to.?

Re: skunk ape pictures?
I know that's right, TG, if I want to see palm scrub, I'll Google palm scrub. But rather than mess with that, I'm fixing to look at your Cryptofloridawebs site and also Mike's site, which I haven't seen before.
And to be honest, this is the first time I've ever heard of Tom Fasano, but he does seem to be suffering from emphysema or asthma--or both. At least he's out getting some exercise.
BTW, welcome to AYR! You're in the right place for REAL Yowie and BF researchers rather than a bunch of teen-age trolls.

OK, just pulled up TG's Cryptoflorida site and Mike's Naked Yowie project! Outstanding. I have posted Cryptoflorida.webs on my Facebook profile (Ella Howard) for the beautiful art. (All my profile and wall are open to anybody, as anyone who wants personal information about me needs to get a life!)

Thanks for the clarification TG. Most of us thought as much! This has been debunked long ago. For starters was the whites of the "skunk ape's" eyes. Fair enough TG - I track the Fasano blog every now and then out of sheer curiousity. If truth be known, I do not know enough about many of the BF researchers to be able to make a sound judgement as to the authenticity of their claims (yourself included) or research. Its a time-consuming enough effort to keep on top of the Yowie phenomenon let alone be on top of the latest Bigfoot sightings and politics between various researchers. That being the case I`ll keep an open mind at this stage. It seems there is some bad blood between you two judging by your comments.Sorry to hear that anyone follows anything that Tom Fasano does. Re: skunk ape pictures?
SAB, in defense of TG, I don't think there's "bad blood" between himself and Mr. Fasano. They probably don't even know each other personally.
For example, I really can't stand Tom Biscardi on account of his blatant hoaxes which he expects all his fellow Americans to take serious, but he has never heard of me, obviously. And it's not a personal dislike on my part; rather, I'm chronically aggravated with his behavior with which he actually fools some people, those who know nothing whatever about Sasquatch except for "Harry and the Hendersons". And in fact, even more than Tom Biscardi, I blame those who actually believe him. And of those, only a few who came up to me personally and announced that a Bigfoot body had finally been found in Georgia, a hoax he was behind. He annoys the freaking h*ll out of me.
It's my impression that TG, in more academic terminology, was expressing the same sentiment. Of course, there are, needless to say, a good many American researchers who do know each other personally and who do engage in ongoing personal vendettas that are not only professionally inappropriate, but cause poor Bigfoot himself to literally fall through a crack. The classic pair were EB and LC, although their feud did little to interfere with their own vastly separate research, the former being on the extreme paranormal end and the latter being totally F&B.
As for me, I quit arguing with anybody years ago--I don't care what anyone believes, and nobody has to believe me.

Re: skunk ape pictures?
Just looked at this guys site. most videos seem to have a comment about Tim Fasano. They are made in a most derogatory manner, do nothing more than to send anyone reading his rubbish to go look at Tim's videos. I find his site interesting, he describes the terrain he is in and a bit of history on it as well.
I was always taught that to put down another person or business is one of the rudest things a person can do. Your posts should be removed until you are mature enough to have some respect.
An apology would be accepted if given, if not I would support Tim in taking legal action for defamation against you.
We suffer enough from sceptics without bagging each other. You don't have to look at other sites let alone pick on them.
Your oversize print is also offensive on here. Other than that your site is pretty but all cut paste or copy from other's hard work.

Re: skunk ape pictures?
As for the video.. thats a gorilla. Googled way too many images of bigfoot and a lot of them are just pics of gorillas. That is defiantly one. Only thing that puzzles me the most is that its standing upright which.. well, i'm not too sure about gorillas but I don't think that stand up that much, do they?
As for your website TG... as much as it has lots of info on it.. from a web designers point of view, could do with a bit of a workover. Not being harsh about it or anything, but looks very hacked & slashed up to me. Those free website builder things you get online are.. well, limited to the extent where you're going back to what I like to call "the good old Geocities days". You have your info there and all, but everything else overpowers it way too much. I'm what i'd like to call a veteran web-surfer and even I got lost there for a second before I could find your latest news, etc. Keep it simple, keep it informative, and kill all those backgrounds that load slow. Slow loading time = visitors get annoyed and leave. I'm on a 1.5mb/s connection and even it was going "er, what do i load first". I'd put that down to a lot of javascript going "oh oh me first me first, load me!". If you need any hints/help with the site, don't hesitate to PM me. Oh, and as Dashboard said.. as much as its hard to find info about, don't copy/paste stuff and claim it as your own or whatever, at-least cite where it came from originally. Example, every time I find something interesting on another site, i'll post the text on here (minus huge letters) and then at the bottom of the post say "Sourced from: <site name here>. And uhm.. that "wife swap" story? Those photos are actually copyrighted by the ABC. Careful with those. Loren Coleman had to get permission to use them himself.
