Going hunting in Blue Mountains area in 3 weeks
Hi im going bow hunting in the Blue Mountains in 3 weeks in 1 of the state forest havnt decided yet. Does any1 know of a area in which has any Yowie activity?

Not exactly..no..but..one idea would be any state forests around Oberon which does get the odd report.
Out of interest..do bow hunters need a licence to hunt in designated state forest areas and if they do, does that mean you have to book an area ahead of time like shooters do.

yes mate i have to be licenced through game council me and my mates all registered hunters not worth the trouble of getting caught lol. We are looking to book a spot by this weekend.

Ok we have agreed to go 2 Newnes i think its pointless for hunting but seen a few yowie tree breaks and bites in the past there. Any1 else seen anything in Newnes state forest area?
