Yeah not too sure what to make of it myself, for all I know the guy may be legit, I think the media have a habit of picking on people who seem a bit strange as it adds to the sensationalism of the story. I am yet to see a good documentary about Yowie/Bigfoot from the media, the only people who seem to do it right are those that are in the subject themselves.
Thanks for posting

No doubt he believes what he saw. Probably did. What a character!
I doubt a Police Officer in this Country would be allowed to go on record like that in uniform within our Country.
I liked it.

Totally agree about the media Chewy. They can and sometimes do present a person or story any way they see fit sometimes. With film editing and the dubbing of questions and answers a person can be made to look a fool and unfortunately this seems to happen a lot with anything that deals with these kind of things.
However I must admit I do find Tim's accent and way of speaking amusing but that is in a nice way . I took up playing clawhammer banjo 18 months ago and am a big fan of anything we in Australia would term "hillbilly" .
That one has been around for a while now. I would have the DVD here somewhere.
I think I will buy the 2010 remake of Boggy Creek. Seems to get good reviews.

Yes got the legends meets science DVD and have heard there could be a second (I am not sure on the truth of this rumour though). Generally speaking the people that made that doco where most probably into the subject themselves, as it was tastefully done.
Rastus,
I know a few Australians who are into anything hillbilly and the old American way, they are characters in their own right. I don’t mind the banjo myself just wish I could play it. I play a bit of classical guitar but that’s as far as my talent goes musically.
Dean,
I’ll have to do a bit of looking into the remake of Boggy creek sounds interesting, thanks for the heads up. I’ve never seen the first either but heard it’s a classic.
