Yowies & music. A concept/theory.

Unread post by deadpool »

Weird topic title I know, but bear with me on this one.

I've read a few reports of where music/whistling songs has attracted them in the past. So, my question is this: what, well, is the best music to attract/entice them.

I was thinking about the whole "communication" thing and the pitch/tone/frequency - and if/when I get the chance, i'd like to test out a theory. I use a lot of programs to manipulate sounds/make my own music, etc - and I was thinking randomly: I wonder how electronica would affect them. The reason being most electronica songs tends to alternate in pitch/tone/frequency at intervals. So, in short, how would that affect the Yowie itself?

Its that or make a "mixtape" of random songs, put the CD player or whatever out where Yowies are regularly spotted/lots of sightings have occurred, sit back and listen to the music (of course it'd be off in the bush somewhere, and a cheap one incase the old fella decides he doesn't like what he's hearing and destroys it totally), and see how/if the react to certain songs.
Example: 12 songs on a CD - our hairy friend goes nuts and destroys the CD player at track 4. We'd know what genre/type of music track 4 is, and know the pitch/tone/frequency of that song pisses them off royally. So, in a way, we're finding out what musical taste the Yowie has. Through a process of elimination, we'd eventually find out what doesn't make them angry, scares them off, etc; and begin to find the right sound that makes them curious, intrigued & somewhat less cautious. I know this may sound way far fetched, but it does make sense, as all animals react to sound(s). I know that death metal, or metal of any sort would anger them as its a-lot of, well, screams, growls and all around heaviness - which to the Yowie would perceive as a threat. There goes a cheap portable CD player. And here comes one annoyed Yowie.

Anyway, enough of this for now, i'd like to hear others thoughts on this.
..people don't tend to notice him standing there in the last frames..

I think DOC SCREAM had more theories than pythagoras on this topic in a past thread , some of which were quite relevant , perhaps a review of some of these may answer a few questions for you .

A really weird thought came into mind when reading your post.

I was invited to a meditation class with a twist; the twist was we were meditating with "crystal singing bows". LMAO where is the straight jacket.
Kid you not, the sounds from those bowls felt like something out of this world music wise; I was shocked on how good it felt feeling the different types of
sounds / frequencies that it made us feel on a huge high.

I did not matter how far away you were in the class ( approx 30 people) you could literally "feel the various vibaration levels sinking through your body"

Before the class I was saying; yeah right, how can a pair of crystal bowls make me feel good. Thus, if these bowls made me and everyone else feel good, could it have the same effect for the big guy.

Should I look out for the white van lol.

By Jove my man i think you've got something there...

lots of talk and theories about infra sound, frequencies, crystal bowl sounds are pure frequency heaven.....they may just get off on it. i done that meditation / guided imagery stuff a bit many many many years ago...( Hippy days the 70's ), and it does have a very enjoyable effect on ones person.
