I want to make up a comparison chart type thing to see the similarities/irregularities of hominid prints. Also, if possible, as stupid as this sounds, could someone step in some sand barefoot or something and then take a photo? I would, but my feet are relatively small & I don't think it would work as well as someone, well, bigger than me (i'm 5'7" with size 10 shoes, but skinny feet

Comparison of prints.
If its okay, could I grab photos of prints from anyone that has them?

). The only reason why I ask this is to compare a standard human print (whoever would do this would have to say how big their feet are & how tall they are) to various hominid prints found & deduce the relative size & dimensions of the hominid print(s) and possibly the size of the hominid itself. I know theres a method to do this, and still looking it up. But for now, If I could just grab as many photos as possible.. it'll be a start.

Re: Comparison of prints.
This is one from a very popular sighting area in the Blue Mountains. Looks obviously from someone (with very large instep) walking around in bare feet. A bit over 10” in length as shown here, minus toes. If the heel seems thin the other end seems very broad, much broader than a fat size 10 1/2. One of a series of the same foot I have found at different times. The stride is very long, quite a stretch to get the same length. In comparison 15 ½ stone could do nothing other than leave a slight impression on sand surface even with the area being soft from recent rain. What it also doesn't show, but what was found on another occasion, is what appears to be a very strange big toe. Very large and at quite an angle away from the foot. The only time this was seen (another occasion) it wasn't as pronounced as the rest and somehow wasn't discernable in the pic. At a guess well over 6' and very heavy.
Which begs the question of why someone would choose to wonder around the bush barefoot in the middle of winter. Prankster or someone impervious to the cold perhaps?
ps. apart from a big toe, it has never been possible to discern how many toes are there, only that they are there.

I found these foot prints in no mans land .They are small about 6" (five year old). They were in a dead straight line , hill to toe.

Re: Comparison of prints.
Would have been nice to find this one a few days earlier, before the rain washed it out. A strange one, not sure what it could be, doesn't actually have an instep. Hard to tell from the pic, but it has a "fold". Like the foot can bend in the middle. Around 13 ".
Any ideas?

Hey Deadpool ,
Here's the footprint I found . Not sure if you already have it . The 3 weired thing's about this one . The hook , where the heal meets the rest of the foot . The wedge shape of the heel and the nodules on the print itself , instead of lines . I have an animal lover friend and when I described the nodules , she immediately sudggested nodules were for traction or climbing .
It's a weired one . Cheer's Rusty2......................
