Have you ever had the feeling that you're being watched?
I live in a small mining town in the North of WA called Tom Price. My best friend and I often go out hunting, we drive out into the bush park the car and walk through tracks either at night or in the early hours of the morning. My friend is Aboriginal and he often talks about spirits. There are certain areas that we CANNOT go because of these spirits. We've never been spooked before out in the bush but I've always had strange feelings about going out there. One normal afternoon I was taking a stroll along a track I new well just outside of town. I heard a loud rustle in the bush. I turned and I saw movement. It was only a quick flash so I kept going. When I heard rustling again I knew there had to be something there and it was not my imagination. I looked in every direction but... Nothing completely still. I picked up the pace to a jog heading home. I was scared to death that whatever it was would get me. I thought of what it could be, I knew I hadn't gone into sacred land. It was about 15 minutes after the rustling and about 10 to 6.
At this point I was scared almost at breaking point. It was at about 6 when the creature came into full view. It ran across the track in front of me. And then stopped in the bush about 2 metres after crossing the track and looked at me for at least 3 seconds, in my frightened state I picked up some rocks and threw them at it. It then vanished.
Recenty I've heard of a dingo problem in town about dogs and cats going missing. And bodies of them being found in a bloody heap. I knew it wasn't dingos because whenever we go out hunting in the bush surronding the town, there are never any dingos. Even at night when they are most active there are none, I've only ever seen 3 dingos in my time at Tom Price. 2 were no where near the town and were extremely skinny and the other was dead. There is something strange going on in the bush around Tom Price.
