Went out yesterday and picked up my files from the stick's . As some of you might know , I keep getting these recording's which leed me to believe that something's in the area . I picked up another recording yesterday which sounded so close to the camera , I thought I might have captured something . I did ! . The animal know's I'm in the area and I think it's playing with me . Sort of like , "you hide your equipment and I'll find it and play with it" . Hide and seek ! It feel's comfortable enough to approach the recorder (which , I believe it can here) because it's concealed in a camo tube . My camera's however have large menacing "eye's" (ir light's and lense's) which must be quite threatening to it , making the animal evasive of the evil camera's .
In the photo below , Iv'e put the camera in a pipe like the recorder . The trick is to face the pipe straight into another tree or thick bush , so the only way to see what's inside , is to get really close and look straight down the barrel . Bingo . I've stitched the seperate audio and video together below . When the vision stop's the audio keep's going . You can see fleeting glimpse's of a finger or something in the top left corner of the video . In the accompanying audio , you can here that it's pretty heavy .
This is possibly 1 of the reason's we can't get footage on our trail cam's .
It's not the video of the century but after nine month's , it's a nice start .
