Possible Footprints found on the Murry River

Unread post by Dion »

This came in in the last couple of days.

Not sure what to make of them very hard to distinguish, The guy is adamant they looked like footprints, my thought is most probably Kangaroo or Wallaby, what do you guys think?
Hi dion 2010/dec/30
we were on the murray river vic side and we came across
large foot prints in the sand, three long norrow toed and two short heal prints behind the toes about 500mm long 200mm wide
We followed them for about a kilometre down the river as it was getting dark

To me they look like Roo or Wallaby. The centre print being from the tail after it hops forward.
But sightings have occurred along the Murray, all with normal looking foot prints though.
My Real name.
