NO. I'm not offering but maybe I can convince someone to fly out and try it.
I believe the best bait is children and women that are having a picnic or gathering of some kind that are noisy and just plain having fun. Seems there are curious creatures out there that will have a look about what is going on at a safe distance.

I have to agree with Dawn here, why didn't they stay for that week and have a team there to get photos etc.
On that note too, the couple who have had a yowie visiting for the better part of 16 years make me wonder...coz if they can't get a good quality photo in 16 years, then what hope do the rest of us have ??
Also its interesting that a male yowie would be attracted to a human female when she is menstruating. One would think it would be more interested when she is ovulating, as when she is menstruating she is at her least fertile. (as opposed to dogs, cats, etc. that are at their most fertile at this time).
So are we saying the smell of blood is the attractant ? I know that lion keepers/tiger keepers if they are female have to have the week off, otherwise they will be eaten. So perhaps this applies to Yowies too which means that any blood should attract them the same as menstrual blood.

may sound dumb
we seemed to get a strange result when playing our car stereos in a bit of a hot spot, we found that if we opened all our doors and boot and played music loud enough to hear outside the car but not too loud we always seemed to get a reaction if something was around. We often get a double stomp but it makes for a slow get away
sounds dumb but i think it is welcoming like us walking towards someone who we are wary of with arms spread, not threatening.
see with me, walk deadside, traverse the minds of endless numbers and bask on the shorelines of hell.

Not Possible, you cant attract a yowie they seem to avoid things they dont understand, IMO they may be curiouse but won't show themselves thats for sure. I Think the best thing is to visit a "HOTSPOT" Known Area of sightings. 'These Guys Are use to humans ' And Seem to me to be outcasts or roughs of there clans
and try a few things eg: Noise, Smells, Food, What ever Experiment its fun enjoy its my fav hobby
