Despite what the scientist say, I know a number of people who have spotted big cats in that area.

Interesting photo..when you go and click on "view full size"..the tail appears to be too short for either leopard or jaguar.
The head looks smallish as well.
Very odd..
Might even be a melanistic jagarundi
