" Special force's in the war department ( U.S. ) had sent under cover experts to comb indian reservations for tough young men trained to move stealthily through rough terrain . They were especially looking for men with outstanding , almost supernatural tracking abilities . Some of these indian trackers were then enlisted into the army .

Once enlisted , an amazing thing happened . Whatever talents and skill's they had possesed on the reservation mysteriously disappeared . Serious casualties and failure's of performance led the government to start expensive testing of these recruit's and this is what they found .

When questioned about their failure to perform as expected , the older recruit's replied consistently that when they recieved their required military haircut's , they could no longer " sense " the enemy , they could no longer access a " sixth sense " , their intuition no longer was reliable and they couldnt " read " subtle sign's as well as they used to , or access subtle extrasensory information .

They let 50% of them keep their hair and the results were conclusive , the guy's with the long hair continually outscored the other's with short hair in the field test's . "

Says quite a lot about yowies who are completely covered with hair.

Maybe we now know the length we need to go to 'think like a yowie' :/ ... not putting my hand up though, I already have too much hair!

Wow Rusty, very interesting.
Apparently if you snip of cats whiskers with scissors they become unbalanced an uncoordinated (would be funny to watch). I wonder if the two are linked in any way.
