I have seen a yowie 23 years ago at the base of Mt. Beerwah and just before chrissy behind Moby Vics on the Bruce Hwy. eastern side hoping to get back there next week and go further into the forest

Giday Geoff ,good to hear that it's back ! My daughter and myself found alot of very large footprints in that area a couple of years ago !We never got to see it though ! After a solid year of searching the area , I found very little evidence of anything living in the area permanatly ! I came to the conclusion that it didn't live in the area , that it was passing through , enroute to elsewhere ! Have you noticed any activity out of the norm' for the area eg ; road works , clearing of the land / bush , fires / burning off , ect ! I know the area well , can you tell us where behind Moby Vics ? Good luck when you head back out to look for it !

Have also spent time in that area.
We also like Darren believe it passes thru the area to other places.
Dont be fooled by the tree damage in this area as we have on film hundreds off Black Cockies flying and in trees.
Doing all sorts of damage.But on occasions you will come across that tree that you just cant explain,
Keep on lookin.
And best of luck....
P.S if u head in thier dont go on moto bike or cart as traffic squad get in thier on bikes and in cars.white horse area.....................great fun........on the Run......

Yeah , it seem that every now and then , this one pops up ! There's alot of bush around that area and it would have no trouble at all moving from place to place !
