Audio recording devices?

Unread post by Pyotr »

Hey there, I'm in the market to grab some sort of audio recording device, but I'm not really sure where to begin with the whole thing. Does anybody have any recommendations for a reasonably priced quality recording device? Or anything I should be looking for with regards to features that are a necessity or better to have?
Thanks :D

Try the Sony BX or PX series of voice recorders I think most have recommended them in the past, anything else and you will need to compromise on clarity of sound and or not lasting (breaking) especially with cheap Chinese made stuff that you will find on eBay.

Hi Pyotr, as Dion suggests the Sonys work really well. With lithium batteries they will run 5 days non-stop on highest quality. They cost in the $130 range but are far superior to any other eBay clone available. Cheap recorders are very poor in quality and battery life I've bought several. Strongly recommend getting a Sony. 5 days is a lot of hours to sift through. Great quality audio.
