Coin find
Check out the coin found near Gympie in our 'latest news' section.....
Brett Green emailed pictures yesterday.
The area inwhich it was found has a History of anceint Egyptian and Phoenician seafarers coming to our shores looking for gold.
Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Interesting coin, Dean. Apparently, atleast I was told, that gold from Australia was found among the 'treasure' in Tut"s tomb (Icant spell the full name LOL!) Apparently you can do a test on gold to find out where on the planet it comes from. If that is true, they would have had to be mining here several thousand years ago. But why build pyramids? Even in Egypt, where they had a big labour force, they only built a few. Why, in australia, which would, one assumes, be only a small colony, would they go to that trouble. It would take workers away from their mining!

You should read Brett's book. His Great Grandfather was inducted into an Aboriginal tribe back in the 1800's for saving a young black boy from drowning in a river. They told him all about the visitors that came by boats hundred or thousands of years ago and lived among them.
They spoke of the elaborate headwear, ships with 'heartbeats' and ships that were blown by the wind. They also showed him all the big stone statues, which Brett has photo's of (including the Pyramid). The two races intermingled and taught each other a lot. The Aboriginals helped them dig for the gold. They were there for a very long time.
Bretts Grandfather sketched all the anceint writing, scultpures, drew maps and wrote all about what he had learned from the natives in diaries. They were later handed to Brett. Pure gold!
When the first white settlers arrived in the area, they though "Fantastic! Pre-cut bricks!" and tore a lot of the structures down to build the local Church and many other buildings still standing in Gympie.
Artefacts such as the coin are still being found.
Brett was telling me of one unscrupulous researcher from the Blue Mountains who arrived, pretended that he made a lot of the finds and stole (sorry, I meant "borrowed" and refused to return), certain artefacts from people.

Whats the name of the Book Dean? I can think of only one researcher thats name is acciated with the Gympie Pyramids. Has anyone else acctually looked into it, I haven't come across much about the connection. A few media reports, that disappear after only one airing. I have heard that there were supposed to be the remains of a stone pier somewhere up the top end....The ancient Chinese were here, they found references to Kangaroos in a itimised list of some Emperors private zoo from about 5000 years ago!

A student in Egyptian writings told me when comparing script found along the east coast of Aus with writings in Egypt of known age, it has been deduced that the Middle East people occupied Australia from about 4000YBP to 1500 YBP.
It is in my opinion that cattus was brought to Aus during this period and has mutated into the big cats that are extant in Aus.
I believe the stone pier work is at Sarina, also evidence of smeltng gold and recovery with mercury.
The egyptians brought celtic race people to do the mining.
Cheers Wally

Called "The Gympie Pyramid" by Brett Green. I've lent my copy to Mike. Great pictures.
The pier you refer to was discovered at Sarina and was presumably built by the Phoenicians. There are also giant fish traps - "giant". When the tide is high, the fish swim in, and when the tide goes back out - they're trapped. On the shore they found large slag heaps and some artefacts. The local Council thought the finds were great and would help tourism, but the Federal Government was too concerned about land claims, such as they did in Gympie and tried to cover the whole thing up.
A lot of the giant stones from Gympie were dumped off a barge near Stradbroke Island.

Thats always been my theory too Wally. The release of the U.S. Army Big Cat mascots simply helped along the breading of what was already here. I did an entire radio show on it.

Also , on the big cat subject . . . if they'd been here since then , thousands of years ago , you would think that the population of big cats would be at a point where there would be more of them ! I believe that there are big cats in Australia , but I wouldn't think there were that many , maybe a few generations !

Where abouts near Stradbroke Island?A lot of the giant stones from Gympie were dumped off a barge near Stradbroke Island.
I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here.

Message today from Brett regarding the Coin. See below:
I would like to thank everyone for their fast responses to my urgent request re the identification of the ancient coin found near Gympie before Christmas. Some of you must have spent hours trying to assist me. I am in your debt. Thank you - thank you - thank you.
What has astounded us is that most of us were on the wrong track - including my local team. Enquiries throughout the world over the past seven days were made through Canadian-US-UK-Egyptian-Jewish-Coptic language connections-Byzantium-Greek-Roman-Arabic-India/SriLanka-Celtic research groups and numismatic societies - only two "Aussies" got it right out of all of these "experts". You will be pleased to know that the coin has been positively identified with very surprising results - we now have a rather bigger mystery to solve.
I shall send you a report shortly as we finalise our findings - you will be the first to know.
Thank you all again for you support.

I already know what it is - have been told. It's even better than we thought.
I'll let everyone know once Brett gives me the final nod to do so.
Everyone involved is quite excited.

See our friends at http://www.awarenessquest.com
Tristan controls this site and has some of Brett's findings.
More of Brett's work can be found at http://www.dhamurian.org.au
Brett's site seems to be down right now, but dhamurian is the best way to get there.
If anyone wants a copy of 'The Gypmie Pyramid' - contact us here, although 7,000 were shredded during the eve of the last publication due to Brett revealing too many secrets..... An Aboriginal was convicted and confessed to this fact.
These books are now rare, however again, contact us and we'll see what we can do.
This book will change the way you think about our History and is loaded with heaps of fantastic pics, not just blundering heresay like other books we know......
