Audio Possible Bunyip Sighting, 2007
Finally found the time to edit and post this audio.
This was a casual interview I had with an old friend in 2012, regarding a sighting he had in 2007 on the Princes Highway, Tomerong, NSW. The description he gives of this creature is bizzare and, in my opinion, fits the realms of a bunyip rather than anything else.
This guy is as straight as nails, brought up on the Aussie bush and was hesitant on talking about it out of fear of ridicule.
*Please excuse the background noise and annoying 'Flip4Mac' voice-over.

Another weird encounter from the Aussie bush. "A wolf with a preying mantis walk" and "bloody big". Freakish to say the least. The way he tells this perplexing story sounds credible to me. Reckon he actually did see something very weird. Wonder if anyone else has ever encountered anything similar?
And yes, that women's constantly interrupting voice with the Flip4Mac ID is super annoying!

Hi Searcher, yes another great audio, with a different description then the norm. About four new ones in a week, is it christmas.Searcher wrote:Another weird encounter from the Aussie bush. You don't hear in oz much about the Yowie having a wolf type of head. He said it was big too and scary looking.
I try and be vigilant with fakery ( even with myself ) but these fella's always sound fair-dinkum.
Some more interesting descriptions that I haven't heard before were from the Little Hartley audio, the beast having a
brindle coloured lump on its back. Another one was the Providence Portal audio, big glowing eyes ' as big as pool balls '
and the Donnybrook audio describing how it propeled itself by swinging by low branches.
Adds further clarity to the gliding descriptions of when their running.
With your background in Audio Searcher, you must of been grinding your teeth listening to it. I tried to listen through the mess,
focusing on the one sound, like what birds and frogs do. I actually achieved this and the flip4mac moved out of the way.
I think ?

Hi Searcher, the beast that dare not speak its name........ I had that in mind when I wrote 'wolf type of head'Searcher wrote:Dare I say it.... no one has mentioned the dreaded Dogman yet!
but I thought I'd better leave it to the experts.

Cheers Searcher. He definitely did see something, what I couldn't say. I'd like to think I'm well versed with Yowie, but this creature was totally in the realms of weird.Searcher wrote:Another weird encounter from the Aussie bush. Off audio, he later added more description: it would have been about 200-300kgs, the length of it's torso was similar length to a pony, but it was slightly less than 1mtr in height (at shoulder), and the reason he kept saying 'slinking' and moved like a praying mantis was because it's legs weren't directly underneath it... more like a lizards legs come out at a 45dg angle if that makes sense (with low belly), and that each leg lifted off the ground independently of the others (unlike when a dog walks it's front right leg goes forward with it's rear left, & visa versa).
This happened in the woods near where Rusty conducts his research. Wonder if he's seen/heard something like this.

It sounds like a dogman that was disfigured in an accident. Maybe it got hit while chasing cars?Searcher wrote:Dare I say it.... no one has mentioned the dreaded Dogman yet!
Poor guy must have got the shock of his life to see that horrible thing..whatever it was?

To quote Shakespeare, as Hamlet told Horatio, ‘there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy’
Maybe this sighting was of an undreamt of beast.

G’day BR. Your friend’s sighting is highly strange, that’s for sure! His story sounds credible to me and it’s clear he has your trust.
The mantis traits will ring a bell for those who have their head into the UFO scene. There have been many reports by abductees who later reveal mantis or insectoid creatures were involved. Doesn’t explain the wolf like features, though! However, it is not inconceivable that one of the many described species could resemble your friends experience.
There is an absolutely bewildering array of alien species reported to be visting Earth. One thing’s for sure, they come in a myriad of shapes and sizes. Most of us hear only about the greys!
Yes, it is very hard to know where truth stops and fiction begins. However, there are so many thousands of alien abduction incidents that only a complete and utter skeptic could possibly dismiss every single one of them. For example, the Travis Walton case had multiple witnesses and their stories all hold fast to this day. So if just one abduction scenario is proven real, then the door is opened wide to a genuine mystery involving very weird creatures walking among us all around the planet!

Yep, understand your line of thinking. In fact, this story reminds me of a story in the SkinWalker Ranch files where the new owner was approached by a giant "dire wolf" on the property. As you probably know, those files are filled with inter dimensional phenomena that involve a number of strange creatures.Searcher wrote:G’day BR. Yep the common 'greys'. Dr Steven Greer has a very interesting theory on the greys... takes it to another level. Yep, Travis Walton - I remember the film 'Fire in the Sky', based on his abduction. Highly strange stuff.
Yeah look, I'm still of the opinion there could be a number of 'as yet to be identified' species on this earth that have their origins here. Hopefully some light will come one day.

That providence portal review was a good one. Some great descriptions and tidbits of info with these latest AYR audios. This praying mantis dogman thing does sound similar to one of those classic bunyip pics with the dog head .Tuckeroo wrote:Hi Searcher, yes another great audio, with a different description then the norm. There is an actual report in the dogman thread where a lady claims one chased her car. Didnt say if was biting her tyres or not!Searcher wrote:I like your sense of humour, YB!Yowie bait wrote: It sounds like a dogman that was disfigured in an accident. Maybe it got hit while chasing cars?![]()
