The footage is grainy and inconclusive, but still worth a look.

Such sarcasm... it could be blurry because there is a portal opening in front of it

^ Sorry Greg. I assumed you were using the name of a professional wrestler who was famous in the 1980s by the name of Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (real name: John Wisniski). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Valentine

"The Hammer" formed a tag team in the 1980s with another professional wrestler, "Brutus Beefcake" (Ed Leslie). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brutus_Beefcake

After moving to another wrestling company, Ed Leslie later used the names "Brother Brutii", and "Zodiac" (where his gimmick was to only answer "yes" or "no" to questions).

If you are posting under your real name, I'm a little surprised you haven't come across your famous namesake before. :)

In any case, I digress from the "image" theme of the original post.

Getting back to the theme of the thread, professional wrestling did try to exploit the "big hairy bloke" myth, and in the late 1990s WCW included a ridiculous character known as "The Yeti" in their "Halloween Havoc" show, which seemed to be more of an Egyptian mummy: Image

There's only ever four or five degrees of separation between any pop-cultural concept and 'Sports Entertainment'. I can't understand how I missed a wrestler called "The Yeti".

You have an impressive knowledge of the sacred wrestlecrap tinfoilhatguy1!! (thumb)

Greg has obviously suffered a few blows to the head, (most likely at the hands of that rulebreaking thug Tito Santana) so heres a pic of the dream team in their prime to refresh his memory.

Also heres the Disciple(also Bruti) getting..umm..abducted by the Ultimate Warrior while Hollywood Hogan looks on in terror.. Oh what a dark day in WCW history that was...(steamer). Much like the Sasquatch, the Warrior had mystical powers and could dissapear at will.

To stay on topic, ive included the awesome El Gigante in all his bigfoot glory. (woot)

That's actually me as a kid - I thought that the images had been lost! I'm even more good-looking now.

Everyone has probably seen these videos....but I thought I'd post this anyway, since it was the first time I'd seen any of this stuff.

The first video in this compilation is really striking because of how the subject moves. I seriously doubt anyone in a gorilla suit could move with such speed and agility. Anyhow, thought I'd post this as a matter of interest.

Hey Simon. That first one is the awesome jumping russian yet!!. :P Apparently a hoax but i still love it. Funny he calls the witnesses teens. Im pretty sure one is an old bloke. A great jumper whatever it is..very impressive.

I really like that number 3 with the family filming their walk. Thinker thunker does a breakdown on that with some good close ups and looks like the big guy slings a deer over his shoulder before taking off.

Ive always thought the mother with baby is a costume but some claim its the real deal. It seems to have a seperation down near its ass like a suit joining?

I like all those vids except the long distance ones. Drone vid and what looks like an ant in the snow is too far away.

Thank you! I assumed the Mother & child one was fake - and the Russian one had me fooled purely because of how it moved, which was unlike anything I'd seen before. I suppose it's Russia and there are plenty of out of work steroid-enhanced acrobats around....ah well, it had me going but I'm glad I know it's a fake.

It's only the odd video which grabs my attention. Most, of course, could be a guy in a Humphrey B. Bear suit as they're taken from such a huge distance...but that Russian one had me fooled. Ah well.

Hi Simon. Im not saying any are fake. I wouldnt know. I like those skunk ape videos on there as well, especially the one in the water. I watch so many of these videos that im constantly changing my views.

It probably has been but Ive never read the jumping yeti debunked officially or anything . I cant see what they say in the comments that apparently proves it fake.

Some claim its an adult chimpanzee while others say its a guy in a tracksuit!?

Theres a few versions of the footage worth having a look at. Unless theyve hidden gymnastic trampolines in the underbrush then whatever it is ,its actually jumping and moving that fast which is impressive either way. (thumb up)

Impossible to know, I agree - but the zoomed in version I saw looked very much like a person using some kind of equipment and/or suit....and who knows what's hidden in the undergrowth?

Still, it was the unusual movement of it that grabbed my attention - what/who ever it was was moving very quickly. If it actually was an ape of some kind, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Bit of a short breakdown there!!
No one mentions the guy making a hand movement right before it runs out. I used to think that was a cue for it to run out but noticed the man is actually swiping away bugs.

Yeah i thought possibly a pet as well as the dog and kid just dont give a hoot, as if theyve seen it before...or maybe sat through a few "takes"!

You're right - neither of them sound too worried....they just sort of cough a bit. I dunno. I suppose we'll never know....but it certainly grabbed my attention more than any other alleged Bigfoot video I've seen in a long while.

That's a better analysis, and the subtitles (if accurate) make it seem even less authentic. I still feel silly for being fooled though - it's clearly someone using some kind of arm extensions, possibly a more robust version of these gadgets.....
