Surely Jason H is the real life Russell Coight.....that was clearly someone screaming at him in response to his "...tree knocked & plenty vocalizations" antics. Possibly an angry bushwalker who thought he was trying to scare the c**p out of them.

Also....how did he establish that it was the 'alpha' Yowie....sorry, I mean the ALPHA Yowie....yelling to him? Why didn't he call back and tell them his name?

I mean, if you're going to do a fake video, it has to be at least as good as the Russian jumping Yowie one. This video was 1:51 seconds of embarrassingly inept bungling.

Thing is theres a few forum members receptive to the talking yowie theory. Maybe we will all be eating "crow" one day ..pardon the pun. The jasons do get out there in the thick of it and im suprised they havent had a real encounter. Check out the "tickman yowie video".

As for Yowies speaking....I don't see why not, but they wouldn't speak English and sound like some bloke from down the pub, surely?

There's still the lingering mystery of how Jason knew he was being spoken to by the ALPHA Yowie. I guess we'll never know how he knew....

And yeah, although I was unable to find the original video on YouTube, I found this review of it containing some of the original footage. The commentary is pretty funny.

So I see that Jason H has a bit of a track record, then? He makes Mr. Standing look like a genius by comparison. It's actually pretty funny I reckon, although I don't know why anyone would spend their time making fake videos...they should just bite the bullet and do straight-ahead comedy stuff without trying to pass it off as the real deal. Unless Jason is unaware of how funny this stuff is, in which case he's missed his calling.
