I just wanted to thank everyone for all your help and expertise on these yowies. I am at a place now where i dont feel the need to go back to find answers, As i found what i was looking for--well they found us yet again.
I only kept going back to find out what was throwing those rocks and why i had those feelings out there.
Now i finally know, i saw one and it is paranormal.
Who would have ever thought i would believe in the yowie!!
I feel so excited and privileged to have such an encounter along with 2 great people.
Thanks rusty for offering to view our footage--at least it can be added to other findings to do with yowie research for u guys. Dee

Uuummm as your title says.....! Went Bushwalking--never again--......!
I did have a chuckle when I read your first post, as I thought to myself this will not end here. You wouls probably keep going back until you are satisfied.
Yet it happened.

Thanks for sharing Dee, I'm excited for yourself as well.
It's just human nature I suppose, to keep interested and find out what is eluding us, until we witness what was.....!

I have one question.
You mentioned when you were walking, you felt presence!, as if you were accompanied at the same time?
Did you ever loose, or have a deficiency of sound/ or a sense of picking up lower frequencies eg "Infrasound" whilst all this was happening around you.???

I think you should be excited that you have witnessed a beast that can transform from the third and fourth dimension with ease.

Think yourself lucky and at a level to appreciate this phenomenon.

Hi WELLY, sorry id like that in english please lol.
Depends which one, iv had 2.

One was as we were on a track walking out. Nothing changed except i just thought to myself c**p theres one ahead of me to the left. I kept walking(following the leader) as i was steps away i knew i was about to walk past it. And when i did it dropped a rock on the edge of the path next to my left leg. Even though i knew in my head it was there i jumped slightly to my right in fright. I wasnt expecting the rock. I am in no religion and dont go to church and dont read the bible, i do believe in god and as i was nearly at it i prayed in my head to my mother"please get us out in safety".Thats how much i somehow new it was there.

I guess its like the people that see ghosts, dammed if i can. I believe in them through millions of reports but havnt got that mind to let them through for me to see.Hope that makes sense.

The other time was the night it had flooded. We the 4 of us were out of the bush and doing the long walk out to get to the car we had to park way up a hill. I was so sweaty and exhausted i wasnt even thinking about yowies at that moment. We were all quiet heavy breathing up the hill not talking.Josh was walking on the left, ron next to him. I was behind ron and rick behind josh to my left.

I could here all our footsteps, especially joshs as he was dragging his feet. Then slightly behind me and to the right i heard a fifth footsteps. I kept walking listening. I thought rick must have ducked behind me to my right, i looked to my left and he was still there slightly lagging. I immediately spun around to my right and gasped as i realised i was right, but it wasnt there. The boys saw the look on my face and totally believed me. But seconds later a rock dropped from thin air and hit josh(Ron has this on video) so something was there walking us out. I never felt/heard it again after the rock.

I never added these weird things in my reports because i felt people would have thought i was a person on crack.Im sure ron is happy to testify(Not to the crack but my body language out there.)

I had only met ron through this forum and wouldnt have a reason to lie for me.
WOW, feel like im writing a book.

In saying all this i did not know or feel the grey one was there before i saw it. I was panicky and uncomfotable then as they were all sounding near us. Dee

While i am at it i should let you know before i get asked why i thought the one i saw was paranormal.
It was white/grey, so really stood out in the pitch black.
I have only heard of black or brown ones.
This one had no definition at all. Just a white oval figure.
It was tall and big but i wonder if there are no reports of light grey yowies, i just wonder wether it was still transitioning to go invisible.(Maybe it thought it wouldnt be seen crossing in front of us)
It walked /glided at the same level, no bopping like we would walk.
There was zero sound to it,completely silent.
It did not turn to look at us,looked straight and went straight across.

If it would have been a black hairy thing with long arms im sure i would have fainted. But this was different.

The figure Dee mentioned crossing the path seemed to glide or it was one giant footstep.I think it would have been in the 6ft range it happened so quickly. Then we got the wet dog smell and turned around and got out of there.
I've wondered if some of their hunting is accomplished with rocks.

I found a couple of dead waterfowl stashed at the base of a tree covered by some leaves. They looked like they were freshly killed and possibly hit with a rock. I wondered if I had interrupted a hunt.

We've never had rocks incoming just little green unopened pine cones and not very threatening. I would really be concerned if sizable stones were coming in.

I've concluded that they hunt with rocks. Small animals and fowl as you say.
I suspect they use rock throwing with deer to get them moving towards their ambush. By being able to land rocks where they want they can manipulate all the creatures around them including humans.

Thumper,

That's actually a pretty interesting thought, human's may look to see where the rock was thrown from but a prey animal would just bolt in the opposite direction of the sound.

Has anybody went toward a rock that has been thrown only to be warned off in an irate fashion? Stomping, screaming, etc?

Hi no one has tried to get into the area where rocks were thrown we just kept walking. It is really not a good area to go off track at night as there are a lot of obstacles

Or 'waitawhile' vines... those long, thorn covered fingers are hard enough to see in daylight shade, let alone at night.
I call them 'Rastatraps' coz once they hook dreadlocks it's easier to cut them off than try and disentangle them.

Dee, do you remember thinking any 'thoughts' during the experience that felt like they were put there, rather than thunk all by yourself?

Hi, no not at all. They were already there. There either out there when we turn up or there not there. I dont thing they "ARRIVE" when we have been out there. Someone said on this forum somewhere he hears hovering, like a craft and thinks they get dropped of. But i have never heard or seen anything like that. Mind you just because i havnt been through it i wouldnt totally discount such a thing. I dont like believing in that but hey some people dont believe there paranormal when i do.
Thinking over and over again what i saw im sure now it was transitioning into disappearing.
I also think they would not allow us to continue to get to that creek because it may have been breeding season??
Foals, kittens everythings having babies at this time.It was a hot day and being night im sure the rest of them were at the creek.

Before i believed they must have been around ( in any bush) forever surviving for a long time and maybe we should leave them alone.
But know if find it real scary. These things are breeding, taking residence in more places, what IF that guys right and there dropped of here. I think us humans may be in real trouble in years to come. I mean what are they here for and what exactly are they doing(not as in what do they eat) but what are there plans. or am i going well overboard here???
Some people are worried if someone gets that clear photo or finds a dead body, the wrong people will get involved. Well good luck to them, these things are to smart, us humans with all our technology will never catch or outsmart them.

I do need to ask though one thing i am shocked about is why has no one offered to go check diag out, a skeptic on this forum or a full on yowie researcher?? Dee

I dont have any answers to your questions Dee but it is clear that the hairy men have been around a lot longer than us and may have the same questions and concerns about us humans and the many silly and irresponsible things we do all over the planet on a daily basis.

My wife, wolfhound and I were out there last full moon.
We hiked into a network of creeks from Mt Mee, then back out again.
(Great excuse for a moonlit hike through the bush)

Although we heard a few potaroos thumping away from us we saw and heard nothing.
The creeks were flowing, which was encouraging, especially for this time of year.

We did come across an area of young saplings, all broken off around seven to eight feet off the ground. Now I have seen this before many times and never thought anything of it, but it would have been a strange gust of wind that could have done that and only in that one spot.
Do saplings break off all at the same height like that?

They were quite old breaks. I would estimate at least 2 years old, perhaps up to four or five. We saw them on dusk so I had a chance to look around their bases for trampled ground but after a couple of years there would not be too much sign of such left.

As to what they are here for... or their 'plans'; they only have one plan... to survive as they have done for far longer than 'homo sapiens sapiens' and will continue to do so for a very long time too.

If aliens are involved in any way, it is not with them, it is with us. I tell a story to my cartooning students in which 'modern' man was created by modifying the hairy fellas with 'alien' DNA in order to create a race of slave beings to mine the gold for the aliens. (Although in my story the 'aliens' are in reality future humans who go back in time and unknowingly modify their own ancestors) The kids love it and it is as valid as any other theory (without the future humans bit) Here is a page from the story. The modern humans are called 'Snamuh' and are led by Mr Chairman...

Yes, i believe we too were out there on the same night. there are many times we see and hear nothing too ,its frustrating. But i meant someone seriously going very regular to monitor the area with a chance of getting great data on them.

Don (who has been out once with us before) made the movie "AUSTRALIEN SKIES" , it can be viewed (or purchased) on netflix.Don and richard(who goes out with us all the time) are in it. Don won small movie with that ufo documentary, and has been offered a sum of money for his next project. I believe don and richard are wanting to do the next doco on yowies and hoping a american guy (finding bigfoot) will be the host. (I believe ray doherty has already contacted don recently asking about it).

Hopefully if this goes ahead it may give people more awareness of what is really out there. Dee

If I lived close I would be out there all the time, night and day. Beautiful country, tall trees, flowing creeks... what more do you need?

Not sure what to say about that except that it gels eerily well with my personal theories after studying mythology, UFOs, abduction and bigfoot/yowie phenomena.

Thanks for posting the link Rusty.

Excellent radio show Rusty

Thank the person who shared the link with you for me.

I started listening at 42 minutes and was not disappointed, backed up my own thoughts and beliefs on the subject.

Thanks for the link Rusty. Those are some scary and weird encounters! What they say about possession is interesting. It would explain a lot of the differences in reported behaviour.

Well I would like to thank you Rusty,

Anyone would know that has been following your research over the years would also know the time, money and effort you have put in.

Your research is invaluable and I know a lot of people respect you for it, myself included.

So a Big Thank You for coming forward with some of your experiences.
