Missing 411 book

Unread post by huxley »

Its been a while since Ive seen it, but does anyone else find it weird that David Paulides' books are so massively overpriced online considering how expensive it was for him to obtain the documents regarding missing persons?

It sounds like he encountered alot of obstacles , dead ends, legal nonsense ect

Huxley, I think you may be referring to the exorbitant Amazon prices for a number of David Paulides's books.

David Paulides's books are priced much more reasonably at the North American Bigfoot Search online store:-

http://www.nabigfootsearch.com/Bigfootstore.html

For a heightened example, today's Amazon price for "Missing 411 - Western United States and Canada" is (roughly) US $117.57,

while the same book is available from North American Bigfoot Search for $24.95.

I guess you'd have to factor in differences in postage costs to make an accurate comparison, but, regardless, the price difference seems quite astounding!

From memory, in most/all of the interviews with David Paulides that I have listened to online, he always seems to point out this price discrepancy and encourages listeners to purchase directly and more reasonably from sites connected to his work - CANAM Missing & NA Bigfoot Search.

Yeah, sorry Spock.

Cittamani: thanks for the input mate, I thought it was just an extension of the same effort to suppress the information he is coming forward with.

When I checked the book depository.com last year, it was the most expensive book I'd ever seen on there.

I was thinking about it last night and was wondering what you guys had on the subject.

Cheers

Most of his research was funded by two Silicon Valley tech billionaires who wanted him to prove there was a Sasquatch but then they found out there was a bigger story in the whole missing 411.

I think David does very well in the speaking circuit and makes a tidy earn from his books. Personally I think for him it has become all about the money.

I've read his books. Something VERY odd is going on in the bush both in the US and here in Australia, hence why I always stress that people take every possible precaution they can before hiking in the mountains.

To be fair, he makes no claims....probably because like the rest of us he has no idea what could be responsible for all the weirdness.

I watched one of his lectures online (YouTube). He says the books are available at his site for a reasonable price and he doesn't know why they're so prohibitively expensive on Amazon.

I'm very keen to read them

I had to go through the US Amazon store to get them in Australia though, cost $$$. No idea why Australia Amazon refused me.

Hi guys,

new to here.

I found this two hour speech by David:

Don't know if this was posted on this site yet. Good to watch as being too expensive to buy books from Australia.
